Silver Mane Quest

Hi,
I can't do the silver mane quest, it looks like it's unavailable on this character.
I read this thread and it seems nothing wrong.

My Hog is level 7, and uhm. I'm level 120
Any ideas what to do?

 

Did you obtain your hog in old source?

 

Drop the hog and the hog quest pops up again. do that and after obtaining the new hog the mane quest pops up. yes this cost 20mil again

 

Yeah, I have, in like 2014 or 2015, I don't remember exactly when.

Ugh.. I'll try that right now.

I don't have the quest, so what now?

 

And kenta has no quest eighter? Kenta tells you to go to the Chief.

p.s the hog is dropped?

 

Yeah, You were right, that was the problem.
I had to drop my old hog, and do the quests =)

I just got to 120 having a hog already, I did the quest to obtain it about a month ago, but no silver mane quest... is this a bug? do I need to drop my hog and pay another 20m? seems strange

 

Is your hog level 3? You can check this by double clicking your character.

If that's not the case, as previously mentioned you may have to drop the hog, but afaik that's only if you obtained it in the old source.

 

My hog is lv.17, if dropping it only applies to old source I rather not... maybe someone has a better solution.

 

Try unequipping the mount and/or saddle
