Do you prefer the gamble or the steady climb?

So I've been spending a majority of my early Royals time preparing the int gear I'll need for my corsair. My main method of meso gain involved bringing my priest to zombies, filling my inventory with equips, selling them to npc with the help of door and saving my teeth for the shop. This method has been very good for me and I've made close to 1b in the last week.

However, lately I've been moving a few maps ahead and spending time farming gold teeth. Since they are selling for 5m each right now, I've been making decent mesos off them. What I'm not sure about, is the gamble involved. Coolie zombies are a linear increase in mesos while miner zombies are a lower linear line with a chance for an exponential gain. I've had 20 teeth drop in an hour and I've had 1 tooth drop in an hour.

Out of the 2, which do you think is more efficient?

 

If you ask me, they are relatively similar. The meso gain evens out between the two in the long run. I say if you have no preference, farm the one in higher demand since its easier to sell that way.

Personally, I prefer watching youtube and farming zombies. Gold teeth map triggers me to no end.

 

It will change for me soon, but to date I have yet to use a single chaos scroll, and I almost never scroll with 30%.

The way I see it is I'll buy until the market no longer offer anything I want anymore, then and only then I'll start scrolling/chaosing.

Math on profit margin probability for chaos to make steady stream of positive net income growth doesn't add up to me. I see it as going to the casino, you win Big once in a while, but you lose more than gain in the long run.

I get my money from merchant, sell leech, farm, and boss. I made about 100b doing this risk-free method (risk free relative to scrolling and chaosing) in the last 4 to 5 months since I got back to Royals.

I know I could make more if I take the high risk high reward train, (which I may start soon), but I enjoy playing royals stress free after coming home from a stressful job and life. Booming multiple b's in one sitting that will take days or weeks to recover doesn't seem stress-free to me atm.

 

I've been doing a steady mix, kinda. I'll spend a good amount of time at coolie zombies and save up teeth then spend the last hour at miners for gold teeth. It's hard to say which sells better because every time I check my store it's completely sold out. Looks like gold teeth are in extremely high demand. Some guy in the FM got away with selling them for over 7m each..

I'm assuming you're going to superwash your corsair (IE, tons of base int), have you farmed enough teeth to get from 10-30? I would continue there till you do, then move to miners for gold teeth and sell the teeth in your store each night. I always find those sell WAY faster than regular teeth (but I don't sell enough volume to know for sure).

 

I've actually been selling all my teeth. The whole concept is MP washing is still foreign to me so I likely won't do that until I understand it better. Besides, aren't corsairs better at around 10k health so 1/1 hits don't nuke your boat?

I do 2 or 3 things in parallel instead of 1 thing at a time, so it speed up the mesos farming process.

 

Go big or go home. This game gets boring and only chaosing 20 bil times that can either net you 50 bil or set you back to the point that you want to quit gives me the thrills that I need.

 

You can wash your sair to 30k, but just use different potions like cheese (4k hp) for Zak for an example. Even if you get hit by 1/1, your ship only lose 4k hp or W/e the hp pot you're using.

 

Wait..1/1 is determined by the health of your potions?? When did that happen?

 

Regardless, you can get all the extra MP, and not wash it out. Who doesn't love having a bunch of extra MP? Then when you're 150+, if you need to wash more for HT or whatever other bosses may come out, you dont have to start over. That's what I'm doing with my MM. Ill MP wash with the intent of 30k HP, and just wash when I need it, rather than washing it all out as soon as I hit 135

 

My thought exactly. My NL got clean 5k hp at Lv 172, but with 20k mp. Still playing hero atm, so haven't start washing hp yet but I have enough mp to go from mp to hp directly till it hit 30k. In the near future when I start playing I'll probably wash to 12 or 14~15k (toad?), And then finish it to 30k when I complete-ish my gear

 

If your health is at 4000/30000, and you get hit by 1/1, you receive 3999 damage.

 

I guess I better start researching MP washing again. I think I understand the concept but I hate the idea of leaching so it turns me off.

I need to raise my base int in multiples of 10 so when I have level up MP I can +MP and then -MP so there is a positive gain. Then I put that point I reset into int right?

So at a certain point I'll have a massive pool of MP which I can then +HP, -MP and continue doing that until I'm at a good health pool. Eventually I place those free points in my main stat and reset all my base int into my primary stat?

While this is happening, my total int from base+ extra is increasing my level up MP in multiples of 10?

Am I somewhat close in my understanding?

 

Yes you got the gizz of it. But you want to make sure you have enough mp gain to make it worth while because if you only have like 80 base int (8 mp + normal mp gain per ap point), and if you lose 16mp when you take out mp into hp or stat, it's not worth it.

Normally people don't mp wash unless you have 150+ int base. The higher the better. My nl got 400 base. This also mean you'll need to buy a lot of leech, or make a mage to leech yourself since essentially make your character unplayable.
