so my current battleship lvl is at 8 and i timed the cooldown and its at 90 seconds at lvl 8 is it still worth it to max it? if so why? what are the differences?
is worth it to max it as every level you get significant more hp on your ship meaning that your ship last longer and the cooldown for the ship is 90 second for all levels after new source so there's no downside to maxing the ship
Going to main my corsair when character creation is up and going to pump all of my mesos into him. Just want to make sure again so I don't screw up: My goal is 7.6k hp at around 155-165. Don't want to wash more because it will screw my ship faster on more higher levels and pb will never come out anyway so it doesn't matter. Even if he does, I can always make a Drk/Hero, wash them to perfect hp easily, gear them up and kill him. I currently have int gear of total 120 int (including 4 int base) which I'm going to wear starting from as early as level 8 and it will peak at lvl 50 of total 120 int or maybe even 130-140 if I decide to mass scroll zhelms, but let's keep it 120 for now. It was shitty explanation but I think you have got the point. I have total of 130 ap resets ready. Not willing to add base int at all/mp wash since I don't need to. Sila NL guide says that for NL to reach 7.6k hp at 155, even 90-110 int gear from level 70 will be enough, and both my starting point and my gear are a lot better than that. Don't know how corsairs are different from NLs with hp/mp gain though but I don't think the difference is too big. The guide also says it takes like 132 ap resets so I'm good here. The question is, is it enough for my goal? Knowing the fact that corsairs ALWAYS get 20 hp for 16 mp and corsair have like 5k natural hp at lvl 150. Should I buy more ap resets? TL ; DR char is not open yet so I will be leveling with int gear on from as low as level 8-10 no mp washing/base int added. Only leveling with int gear. 120 int gear from level 50 and on 7.6k hp goal at 155-165 130 ap resets Is it enough? THX
hello!! thanks alot for sharing this guide with us. just one qns, now at v82, can we max battleship skill now?
Just to ask about this technique.. how mush frames did take from it? Since there's always a lap of time (since ship its consider a mount) between 1 - 3 secconds (deppend of you lag) aprox. Also about DPS its is really necesary get a perfect gun to get arround 20k - 25k per line ? Also did 'sairs get effect by Sharp eyes? same as Speed infusion
i have a question. what is the min mp for corsair? is it really 18xlvl+111? anyone has tested this recently?
yea me too that i hope somebody can update this guide haha. right now, the ice splitter seems to be working and u can summon a few octopus at the same time as long as 10sec is up. flame thrower doesnt have burning effect yet. and there is STILL no dice skill for sair... the rest seemed pretty much the same. experience from my lv 143 sair..
MW buffs your str too though lol. dex is actually better at lvl 200 cause there is a 999 base dex limit now and if you'll have too much you need to add str anyway
What is your opinion on Bigfooting on a Corsair with Booster+SI? Is it better than just booster or does it make you miss more shots?
I'm writing this as a corsair in 4th job to help out fellow gunslingers. I'm not a good writer so if you struggle to understand what I've written, just reply to this post and I'll answer your questions. These are my observations. Best for unfunded/semi-funded players: General HP washing is helpful. I know that is contrary to what this guide suggests. The only reason OP has against HP-washing is 1/1 attacks. There's a solution to that: Use pots that don't recover all of your hp such as Melting Cheese, Elixers and then your ship takes less damage. E.g. if you have 10k hp and you're fighting Zakum with 4001/10,000 hp, everytime Zakum casts a 1/1 attack, it will do 4k damage to you. So, do HP washing so that you can survive when you accidentally get too close to whatever boss you're fighting. This little info is for unfunded/semifunded corsairs: I started washing from level 28 onwards. I had 60 int from base + equips. This is MORE THAN enough to survive Anego's 5k slap damage at level 125. BUT IF YOU ARE FUNDED, PLEASE DO MORE HP WASHING. 3rd Job Get the Glaze (Ice) and Blaze (fire) capsules and put them behind your bullets. They are now working. When you do that, your damage using the Ice Splitter and Flamethrower will be much better. You just need 1 slot for Glaze capsule and 1 slot for Blaze Capsule. Even 1-2 hours of training won't deplete either of your Capsules. Flamethrower doesn't still do burn damage. It's still bugged. 4th Job In early 4th job (lvl 120-135), you still suck. Until your Battleship cannon gets a good amount of SP, you still suck. Your DPS will still be shit. Training will be painful. My advice to early 4th job corsairs is level up by leeching and by bossing. Bossing options in 4th job. You can find a party or solo some of the bosses. Level 120-124: Bigfoot Level 125-135: Bigfoot, Anego Level 135+: Bigfoot, Anego, Krexel, Zakum Max out Battleship. Cooldown is still at 90 secs even when maxed. Every time you put in SP, your battleship gains 4000 health. Every time you level in 4th job (regardless of whether your battleship is at lvl 1 or at lvl 10), your battleship gains 2000 hp. Anego Tips Please get Rapid Fire asap. Why? With Rapid Fire, you'll be able to pin Anego within 1 minute. Homing Beacon -> Rapid Fire -> (when you pin her at the corner, switch to your ship and hit her with Cannon). Zakum Tips Use Ice splitters to freeze the mobs that Zakum summons so that your attackers don't have to climb up and hit the mobs. Half of the mobs (the brown ones) can be frozen. While the other half (the blue ones) won't be frozen, you're still doing your bit to help reduce the amount of mobs for your party. I've been in parties where the mobs covered half the screen, making it hard for other ranged attackers to hit Zakum. If you do your bit, that won't happen. Use Melting Cheese as your hp potions. Don't use anything that recovers more than 4000 hp or your battleship will take more damage. If you're not sure why, read my observations in the general section above. As mentioned in the guide, don't forget to turn on and off your ship to avoid damage to your ship. Keep an eye on Zakum. He always takes 1-2 seconds to summon the attacks, which is enough time for you to react and turn off your ship in time. Krex Tips Are you kidding me? Keep an eye on those vertical wall attacks. There's always 1-2 seconds for you to react and turn off your ship in time. My SP allocation 120: +1 Battleship (1) & +2 Battleship Cannon (2) 121: +3 Rapid Fire (3) 122: +2 Rapid Fire (5), +1 Battleship Cannon (3) 123-131: +3 Battleship Cannon [MAX] 132-137: +3 Bullseye [18] 138: + 2 Bullseye [MAX], +1 Battleship [2] 139-140: +3 Battleship (8) 141: +2 Battleship [MAX], +1 Rapid Fire (6) 142-149: +3 Rapid Fire [MAX] You won't need Torpedo immediately if you're going to boss a lot in 4th job. Put 5 points into Rapid Fire for Anego. Training will be painful, don't make bossing Anego painful unless you want to do Bigfoots all the way until level 135. You can choose to max out Battleship before Bullseye. NOTE: I'll update this post once I've got a good feel about how corsairs can deal with Ninja Castle bosses (when the area's released next month) better.
