When feedback is written here usually there is no response of a GM confirming they are implementing it, specially if we talk about a matter such as a 2x Event (at least i hope they don't). Just imagine the early impact on the Royals market because of the speculation about 2x event being confirmed. I think a GM can only say things along the lines of 'staff is discussing it', 'it's a matter being brought up often on meetings' or 'we won't be implementing it', but for this particular matter i think it's better to stay silent (just my opinion).
I don't see how confirmation (for any feedback) would be a bad thing. If we were given a 1 week notice in advance that this 2x NX vote would be implemented, where is the harm in that? The economy may plummet early, but isn't that the whole point of the 2x NX? An early confirmation as simple as "We have agreed with this idea and it will be implemented in the next server patch", while a small gesture, goes a long way.
If they did in fact have confirmation of this being implemented, they wouldn't post it in this thread most likely. Not until after an official announcement was made at least.
Bumping this thread! Looking for MORE NX! Already struggling with buying a freaking merchant... OR reduce the price of the merchants! LF> perm merchants!@#@#$
I mean, unless you have multiple shops at once, you won't run out of NX, not to mention, you can make a separate account and vote once and have a stand-in shop for a year with only 8k NX. The Mush-shops are a convenience and you pay extra for that convenience. I do think though being able to buy for mesos (or free but sells @ an increased tax rate) would also be a good idea. Just my 0.02$
I'd vote for >Perm. Merchant for X NX< or >Temp. Merchant for X Mesos< The way it is now is painful T_T
People gotta spend their NX on something. You can buy a stand yourself and sell without the hired merchant for a longer time. I don’t see how that is such a big issue, hired merchs areb’t that expensive too, 2k for 1 day, you get 8k per day, so you can still have 6k to save up, at the end of the day (Wrote this at almost 12am so sry if it makes little sense am tired lol)
Not everyone wants to run maplestory on their computer for 24hours just so they can sell items with a stand in merchant. f3
Can almost guarantee prices are going to just go right back to where they were (if not already) even with 2/3 of a month with 2x NX. The market is literally the reason why I do not play MapleRoyals right now. I have spent SO SO SO much money that I have earned via grinding for countless hours, bossing at Zakum for the low chances of getting Genesis 20, and selling items all so I can try to Chaos clean Facestompers, Red Socks, and scrolling perfect Red Cravens (only to boom them on the first slot) for the past several months. If you're unlucky, like me, progress in this game (in terms of equips) is SO difficult to do right now (unless you buy your own equips like a filthy casual). If you get unlucky it will put you so far behind in terms of making any actual progress. Ever since the new source dropped, almost an entire year ago, I haven't been able to make any equips because everything is so GOD DAMN EXPENSIVE. It is so hard, both mentally and physically, to boom and spend all your money, stockpile money back up over several weeks, and then have it happen all over again. It's honestly a disgusting, vicious cycle of self-destruction. I'm either the unluckiest person ever (can someone say 9 failed Genesis 20 on my Bishop?) or I'm just really bad with money. Honestly, I think the root of the problem is simply that the CORE of MapleRoyals players are getting to the end stages of the game - perfecting their weapons, getting high rolled WATT on Facestompers and Pink Gaia Capes, so much so that the demand for specific items such as White Scrolls and Chaos Scrolls has skyrocketed the prices. Because of this, naturally, sellers could honestly set whatever bullshit price on a CS/WS and some idiot would buy it simply because of the raw need for these items, no matter what the price is.
I think the longest i had my shop merchant on for was around 117 hours straight before i dcd. No thanks to that hassel again
