Notice Patch & Download 15/07/14

The download wasn't even starting for me. Switched to firefox though and it's working just fine now.

 

Is this patch going to fix Zakum?

 

Windows Installer asks to install the game in "/.../MapleRoyals/My Product Name/"

If people want to install it in the old folder they have to remove "My Product Name/" from the destination.

 

I'm not sure what the problem is but apparently it would take me 20~ hours to install the new patch on my Mac.

I've got excellent and internet and I know that the download should not take long.

Tested downloading another file that was 1.5gb and it would have taken me 15 minutes.

Clearly something is up with the file/website. Anyone else having these problems?

 

where is the individual files? i hate the MSI patch.....always get error on my PC....any MSI files get errors and they are tooo slow for descompress

 

I thought it always was.

Would love the option of a .zip/.rar file next time we do a sizeable update - it took me four attempts to get the files to update, and I finally succeeded by uninstalling the old version and then installing the new one fresh.

 

can someone make a video on how to download the new MR? preferably someone who has windows 8? i just cant seem to get it to work. i logged on yesterday and everything was working but when i logged on today i couldnt see the donator shop in cs and when i tried going to tot i dced. i always have problems downloading stuff on windows 8...so can someone help?

 

Any specific reasons why this download is this slow? I just tried to download a regular v62 and it takes me 3/4 minutes. This download takes me an hour. Why?

it somehow stops at Google Chrome

It downloaded for me this morning on Chrome, about 30 minutes. I think the problem was so many people trying to download at the same time.

Also, credit to a friend named Sidney, if it says that the download is malicious after waiting 2 hours for it to download, don't retry or find a mirror. Press CTRL+J and click recover on the file and it will!

 

I just went to the downloads tab and clicked proceed.

 

1.4gb its very diferent agains to 930 mbs , if you take the time to convert Gbs to Mbs there is the answers to the diference 1.4gb = 1434mbs vrs 930 mbs i think there is the diference

edit 1: files on extension .RAR are more lighter than files on extension .EXE

I just redownloaded the installer and installed MapleRoyals for the second time and yet again the folder I chose to install the game in has 0 files but there is a listing for it under Add/Remove programs. I have no idea wtf is going on lol. I've added exceptions for everything in MSE and Malwarebytes and they aren't deleting anything or preventing the installation in any way. I'm going to go ahead and try for a third time.


edit: Finished downloading and adding exceptions to literally every .exe, every folder, sub-folder everything I can think of and the installation finished and there are 0 files in the chosen destination. I'm done trying for now until someone can link me to a torrent of the extracted files.

Lol no, I donloaded old WoW 15GB in 40 minutes so the amount of mbs shouldn't effect it
