A meso sink idea is to allow buff freezers to be purchased from an npc for say, 10 mil meso, with perhaps a purchase limit. This item would freeze skill buffs so that one would not have to recast a buff.
Why is that people are always suggesting these un-nostalgic cheap things that should be sold? 10 million mesos is nothing to a high level player who farms equips at Ulu 1 and sells them, for example. Even cheaper to leech sellers.
That's definitely not what we want as a nostalgic server... From a personal/player point of view, I don't want this kind of mechanism to be in the game because it would make MapleRoyals be like any other servers with All-in-One shops, and unlimited buffs (even though you said to impose a limit).
buff freezers are basically useless here because if you're in a boss fight you either get warped out when you die or if you get resed by bishop you keep your buffs anyway.
it doesn't have anything to do with dying, it has to do with re-casting booster every 2 minutes. But yeah I also think this is a dumb idea. A real meso sink like the Chair gach needs to have some sort of permanent place on the server, rather than small knock-off idea's like this one lol. Also @Kai Lets not use nostalgia as a way to prove a point, the only nostalgic thing about this server is the graphics.
Lets make a buff mule. Let them buff everyone. Freeze buffs and lets go kill zak. Who needs a mm or bm in party? Lets go 6 nls with frozen se buff. Who needs a bucc in the party? Lets go with 6 warriors with si buff.... bishops pffff... whats that? Lets make freeze hs
oh sorry i thought he was refering to the item buff freezer that is in the current version of maple story which allows you to keep buffs after you die. What he is speaking of then is what in current maplestory is called pet auto buff or something like that.
