I know lots of people will dislike this idea, but i think it would help out the mesos problem quite abit.
Basically almost everyone on this server has a mage to farm / leech with and now with the OP farming / leeching spots everyone who has been playing this game for a few months can already have billions of mesos! Which isnn’t really the way it worked in the old source.
In the old source you had to work atleast a year+ to get good gear, since the only good place to make mesos (on their mage) was either skeletons or petris, which you could only 1hit if your mage was a high lv mage.
Many people are making f/p’s now too with a hs mule, since everything of a F/p is cheap af and you can 1hit the Ulu maps around lv130, which means they can make up to like 150m per hour... which is a insane high amount of mesos for someone who just started.

The amount you make at Ulu1 by just NPCing is ~65m and NPCing at Ulu2 is ~60m imagine selling split leech too for 45m per person...

I know a lot of drop tables and spawn ratios are still abit off, but just reduce the spawn and / or drops in Ulu1 and Ulu2 so not everyone who hasn’t been working their asses off for good gear are now an “average” player, because some new players already passed them with their Ulu farming on their 13x mage...
I’m not trying to say that these people aren’t working hard for their mesos, it’s just way to fast on such a low level.

Most people probably going to vote NO, because they’ll lose their farming / mesos making spots, so before you vote NO think about the server and not your greedy mesos.

Thanks for reading and please let me know what you think.

I prefer lowering the NPC prices of equipments. Reducing the spawn rate would affect the training process, and ulu is a great place to train for new 4th mages before moving on to 1hit petri/skele. Lowering down the drop rate is okay, but I'd still prefer changing the NPC prices for equipments.

Lowering the prices of the equips wouldnt be fair for the non-mages. I remember when i started and found a high lvl equip that i could sell to a npc for 400k so i could get some pots imagine making those 400k items 100k or even less that would be awfull for new players and non-mages.

Pretty sure any changes made will still put mages in advantage due to how their AOE skills work. Lowering drop rate or price will still result in the same killing rate by the mages in comparison to non-mages.

This change will still give mage an advantage item npcing farming wise, but otherwise not really.
Attackers mainly make their money from boss runs / farming monsters which drop valuable items.
This will put less mesos into the game and make it a bit more fair for mages vs non mages.
I would also like to suggest this for gobys once they are fixed.

Just a FYI, I have a mage and attacker myself and still think this is a good idea.
Also not the most richest person around who is done with getting perfect gear and wants to stop new people from catching up.

You won't be able to 1hit petris on level 130 as a f/p. The whole point about bishops is that you need to work your ass of to get a high level with gene30 and good gear to actually 1hit skele/petris. This has been the way ever since in Royals and i think it should still be like that. Now you don't have to work hard to 1hit ulu 1 or ulu 2. You just get gene20 and 1hit the ulu1 and ulu 2 maps on lvl140 as a bishop.

Obviously that's the whole point of any mage class... If you had to choose between lowering drop rates or lowering the equips prices, then it would be a lot better to jus reduce the drop rate, since like i said earlier, dropping the prices of NPC's will mean you have to lower the prices of potions too and other items you can get from a NPC, since lots of new players use the mesos they get from mobs for potions.

It's normal that mages have an advantage in farming, that's pretty obvious, but making up to +150m per hour on level130 makes 0 sense.

I only suggested the reduce of the spawn and / or drop at Ulu1 and Ulu2, so that they don't have to fix every map, so they can use their time to fix other stuff.
Just lower the spawn and /or drop for this map first, before fixing every other grinding / farming spot.

I never really did sell leech but when heartstopper farming wasn't cutting it anymore I headed to Ulu1 to farm off a suggestion from a friend & was astonished I made some pretty good bank off npc & godly equips I was talking to my boy @GodlyBread about how OP this was. I figured it was a matter of time before someone would talk on this since @Buccaneer brang it up on the shoutbox a few times & me secretly hoping it wouldnt happen but since your on this now too Seb i'll vote "Yes" only on the terms they bring HT back.

mage can't boss and their source of income is leeching and npc-ing as opposed to classes like NLs that can boss but can't really leech or farm tons of gears to npc, by nerfing the rates is just unfair to mages

Making a lot of mesos doesnt equal good gear, since the good gear is almost strictly obtained through gachapon. If everyone is making a lot of mesos from selling leech from a low lvl then the market will adjust according to how much mesos people have and are willing to pay for their gear. The fact that people have godly gear now compared to a year ago is just natural progress i'd say, by this time last year there had been less ws/cs and godly gear on the server obviously. A year a go people couldve done the exact same post maybe in regards to petri/skele/gobies being too op, and said that people made the gear they had taken over a year to get in just a few months which would've been true at the time as well.

It's mages' ability to farm that makes them stand out from other class. A hell NO from me!

As a rather new player I vote no. Simply because I think you should not have to invest over a year of playing before being able to do what you described. While Royals is an exception to the many servers not lasting even a single year, it still is and will always be a private server. If I read before joining a server that I would have to play for longer than a year just so I could farm for meso/items properly, I would straight up not play the server. I regularly see items go for 20b or more, this rate seems more than reasonable to me.

New players will have no problem getting money for potions, since the drop rate and amount of mesos dropped are quite high. Plus, there's always the option to sell APR for quick money, not to mention the dirt cheap potions from NLC (which is bullshit if you ask me for its price and amount restored). Don't even get me started on the PE and Elixirs from LMPQ.

I would vote for NO ! It's so unfair actually that when you all old players whom have getting lots of benefit from these maps such as ULU1/2. I bet you guys definitely have mages to sell leech/farm over at such places and now you guys have near perfect equipments and you guys don't want a fast way for the new players to get their good gear too.

I have actually thought about this and I voted yes for a few reasons and want to suggest something else. The reason why I want to possibly lower the drop rate/NPC price is to slow the inflation rate of the economy. This is the reason why CS/WS was 300 mil old source and 450 mil new source, just too much mesos in the server which means mesos are slowly meaning less and less.

I think if we either reduce the NPC prices of certain equips in popular farming areas (if that's possible), then it would curb the inflation.

Before anyone bashes on how now suddenly mages are going to be useless, let's use some numbers:
Say we are in petri selling split leech. 60 mil/hour from equips and 90 mil/hour. You are making 150 mil/hour, if we 1/2 the NPC price, that would be 120 mil an hour. The majority of your income should be from selling leech and not farming equips. This is what I believe in.
Even if mages take a hit in NPC prices, mages can still easily make 60-70 mil/hour from selling leech.

    Momo.
And from the stories of the suspicious 2 month old accounts from TW players who are on the forums selling 10-20 bil items, I've head that that they are actually legit because of hardcore farming. They are making like 10-20 bil a month with this insane amount of farming. Making a lot of mesos does have a correlation with good gear! Good gear comes from gachapon, but if you got mesos, you can just buy it from other players. I don't know why are you saying it doesn't. Yeah the point is for the mesos to be adjusted because WS/CS rates have been going up but everything else hasn't. Just look at all the scroll prices and compare it to even a few months ago. Overall int 30% are 25 mil instead of 30-35. 2H sword att 30% are 6 mil instead of 12 mil. The economy has taken a huge turn.
Mages can sell leech and make the same amount instead of farming.
Incorrect view of old players
I don't get what you mean when we get the benefit of these maps? We have the same maps still. You can still sell leech and make tons of mesos, just a little less from NPCing equips. And before you say that we old players farming for many hours and got their good gear. I'll just say this as a personal testimony. I have a level 164 bishop as my only mage. He has about 1050 tma, gen 10, and mw 10. I've sold about 25-50 hours of 2 hit leech in my whole career. I still got perfect gear, and this is from hard work as merching and bossing (old source).

No. Petris do not get anywhere near 60m/hour in drops. It's more like 25 ~ 35/hour depending on how focused you are on looting the garbage equips that drop there. I slightly disagree that gutting the mesos made from NPCing is the correct choice. I feel that there has to be a a meso bath tub that goes together in one patch with this if it were to happen to see results. Something as large as the chair gach we recently had that was removing ~100b mesos per day from the server is on grounds of what we need, just permanent. What's the point of slowing down the inflation if we're already to the point that we've gotten without a viable removal of mass amounts of mesos?

So my answer is yes if we can think of a viable meso sink solution that can go hand in hand with this idea, otherwise it's a no from me.

I think you and probably some other people are missing my point, i'm talking about reducing the spawn of the maps of ULU1 and ULU2.

How is it fair that you can make more mesos in a map which takes 0 effort to 1hit, than making mesos in a map (skele/petri) which does take effort to 1hit. (high level and high tma needed)

It makes 0 sense that you can make more mesos from the ulu maps then the map like skeletons.

We ''old'' players used to sell 2hit ulu / skele leech if we couldnt 1hit them and still make a nice amount of mesos, but not even close to 150mil per hour.
So like i said it took us time and effort instead of just leveling to 130 as a f/p and 1hit everything while making 150m p/h.

Lets say a 145attk 21 str ST i bought that for 14b in the old source and now, becaus everyone is making a ton of mesos the prices has gone up, so a 145ST would now sell for close to 20b.
Just like the WS/CS prices these prices used to be 300/330m and are now 410/440m, all of these items prices has gone up so fast and much is because everyone is making to much mesos.

I think the prices of ws/cs are especially messed cause the prices of regular scrolls are far below what they used to be, which are also (mostly) from gach. At this point I don't think its a meso issue, just a ws/cs issue.

It is always make me feel stupid when I hear someone say "that map make a bunch, so we should nerf it". if you really think of this, why don't you go? Yes, you can make 60~65m in one hour, but its also take you one hour of your time to get those mesos, same thing with Goby.
The price of White scroll and Chaos going up is not even about the amount of mesos, it is because you only get 8000nx from voting and you can only vote once a day. Plus, the bosses doesnt drop NX anymore, and the rate you can get ws/cs from gachpon is even lower than the old version. So they'd just buy ap resets.
