This ban got my attention because of something I've been already discussing with some people about. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.106765/ If you could explain me @Charlie , would be really nice. Is scamming a bannable offence? There isn't anything specific about it on the T&C. If so, what would be the punishment for each time someone got caught? If, like the appeal above, someone has lots of separated reports, would he get higher punishment at the first offence? And last question, would there be a "Scamming Claim" rule, the same way there is for "RWT Claim", with the same offence?
It used to be a bannable offense and depending on the situation and proves provided the punishment could go up to 30-perma ban. This rule was deleted while remaking the new terms and conditions for new source (don’t even know why it was removed to begin with).
Well it looks like he was also banned for RWT... There isn't a rule for it but they still reserve the right to act on any evidence provided, especially if it is 10+ reports of it. It isn't the Constitution but a private entity. They can interpret their rules how they'd like and they can change without them needing to notify anyone of them changing. It seems like it is just very hard to enforce rules/prove scamming. And then what would the different punishments be? Different for trade scamming, leech scamming, etc.. seems confusing. As for the question about there being multiple reports.. well then that wouldn't be his FIRST offense, would it? Just like if you murder three people but it is your first time murdering people, you still have 3 counts of murder. As for a believable claim, technically any claim about abuse is the same as doing it in the first place so it should warrant the same consequence.
Of course nobody would be punished with no proof. And there are lots of ways to scam, like boos loot stealing, fake trades, fake biddings, etc. But I believe that they are all the same in the end, people are stealing money from the others, doesn't matter the way they did it.
