    Hello royalers !

I want to bring up to light about the recent events that has happened to me and clear any misconceptions about what you may have heard from other people. I have been scammed and lost about 220 bil worth of gear which took me about 2 years to acquire. To say I have poured a big portion of my time to get the gear is an understatement. What has been lost (and recovered): 24 att red socks (recovered), 121 att dragon revolver (recovered), 19 att PGC (lost and found but not returned), pink bean magic chair (recovered by @GodlyBread <3), 14 att 3 slot BWG (lost), 9 att 4 slot BWG (lost).

    What happened?
I like to lend my gear. Knowing that people can benefit from using my gear, I am generally willing to lend my friends gear. This was no exception for my once close buddy iemilyy. We had a very good relationship when she was an active player. We would do duo krex runs frequently and talk very often in game. One day after a roll back from the server, she has lost a 7 dex 11 luk 3 slot anniversary earring that she scrolled. She has been scrolling many things because she wanted to find an excuse to quit (like 20/1 att cape) but the rollback on the godly earrings was the last straw for her and she decided to quit. She has also mentioned that she will be busy since she is going away to college which means less time to play. When she quit, she gave out all of her gears to Eli and told him to distribute the gears among her friends to solidify her quitting status. As a friend, I got her 19 att PGC.

On Oct 23rd, iemilyy has now been talking to me for the past 1/2 a week. Since she is 12 hours apart from me, the only time she gets to talk to me is in the mornings and evenings when we both aren't alseep. She tells me that she wants to talk to me (which is why she even logs on). She also mentions that she may want to come back but is not sure since she will still have school and is missing all of her gear. Understanding that she gave all of her gear away, I offer to help her out in some beginning funds. The past 1/2 week before Oct 23rd, she has been wanting to do a "recording" session of us just being friends showing the old times of our friendship. One part of it was our daily duo krex, in which she said she wanted to borrow my gear to film her on her corsair attacking and HSing while I'm attacking on my buccaneer with my SE mule. This is where I gave her the gear to let her film the part for krex bossing. She also asks me for the 9 att 4 slot BWG because it reminded her of the 9/4 SCG she chaosed to 14/3 before selling. Before we went to record the krex session, her character disappears. Giving the benefit of the doubt and knowing internet can crap out sometimes or you suddenly need to go, I was expecting my own gear to be returned.

Two days later after contacting her on forums for my gear back, I get no response 2 times. At this point I get a little bit nervous because for the past 1/2 week she has been actively contacting me both on forums and in game every single day both day and night. If I wasn't online, she would shoot me a PM on forums, and if I was online, she would send me a whisper. She solely logged on to see me because tracking her, she wasn't on at any other time of day and when I logged off, she had nothing to do and logged off too. The 1st small clue to suspecting her that it was a scam was that she put her forum profile as private, something that she has never done before. This happened a day after she took my items and logged off. Just a little bit suspicious, but I didn't give it too much of a thought since many people hide their profiles. Just odd timing as it seems.

After suspecting it as a scam, I have heard that apparently iemilyy has been logging on to her forum account frequently for the past 2 days, which means my PMs were purposely ignored. Knowing how she has been contacting me multiple times a day, this rang a huge bell in my mind that my items could have how been scammed since this was an abrupt change in her behavior. During those two days, her character never logged on once from the typical times that we have met up and talked.

On Oct 25th, two of my friends on my buddy list tells me of a few items that they have gotten from this player: hero99 (same internet IP, difference MAC address). I remember hero99 smegaing S>23 att shoe and S>9/4 BWG. I replied to this player on how much the shoe cost, no response. Seb (Sleeve, Nerd, Alphabet) also replied to this smega. Hero99 asked if Seb wanted it. He replied with "yes" and hero99 trades Seb with gear that I later found out was my 24 att red socks, 121 att dragon revolver, and 19 att PGC for free. John (Valorous told me that hero99 also dropped my pink bean magic chair right in front of him and he looted it (in he FM?). Seb tells me that he has some of my gear that went missing. Seb and I are both in each other buddy lists. We don't know each other particularly well but we say our hi's to each other and have friendly interaction with each other when we cross paths.

After a day of asking Seb to give me back my gears, he replies with a shocking response, something that I and others did not expect:
    TL; DR
Seb is keeping my scammed gear for himself.

Seb thinks taking the gear is right after "thinking long and hard about this" because:
    1. It was like a stranger gifting it to him
    2. Wasn't his fault I trusted a "stranger"
    3. I would have never said anything if he didn't say anything about having my gear
    4. We aren't close enough buddies for him to give the gear back to me

Seb doesn't want to give the gear back to me, knowing it was my gear. I know we aren't the closest friends but having someone in my buddy list (besides iemilyy) getting "random gear" which happens to be mine and not giving back to me is frankly rude. After I explained that my gear went missing and it was a possible scam, you had a day to think about whether you should give the scammed gear back to me or not. With some excuses, you justified your actions of basically turning a blind eye to the obvious scam and instead wanted to keep the items because of your own greed. I expected more from you as a top player who has a high reputation both on forums and in game. Let's say that when you received the items and even if you can't tell that my uniquely purple tinted 24 att red socks with the exact same stats posted on the latest accomplishment thread (in which you "liked") or my 121 att dragon revolver that I daily bump for sale in the selling thread are mine, you even said for yourself that you realized that it wasn't a "stranger" that gifted it to you.

Fast forward 2 days, a few of the top guilds are willing to expel you because of you keeping the clearly scammed items of mine. Many of your friends are telling you to return them. You surprisingly tell me some people are congratulating you for taking the opportunity to get some of the best gear in the game. You message me saying that we need to talk, and so we have a civil discussion:

Seb gives back my shoes and my gun because he knows that they are mine. My 14/3 and 9/4 BWGs are still unknown and no where to be found.

Seb does NOT give back my cape because:
    1. I don't have the ownership of the cape
    2. iemilyy "gifted" the cape to him

How can you justify that you were gifted the cape and you have the rightful ownership of it. I previously explained that the 19 att PGC was a quitting gift from iemilyy, which means I am the rightful owner of it since she intended me to keep the cape since she had no intentions of coming back. You have no basis on how iemilyy is the owner of the cape after she gave it to me and then suddenly passed it to you (in which you said you weren't aware it was my gear or her cape in the 1st place). Just because someone made the gear doesn't mean they have the ownership to it. She forfeited the ownership to me when she quit which means I own the cape. I was very nice to iemilyy saying that I would help her out if she were to fully commit to coming back, someone she never said because she wasn't sure. Even she acknowledged that the cape she cape to me is mine because she didn't tell me that she was coming back and wanted the cape back that she lent out. Seb, you are pettily making incoherent justifications for keeping the gear that I have the right ownership to. According to sources, Seb is not willing to give back the cape because he thinks he now has the ownership to the cape.

Those know are friends or associate with Seb:
This is who you have been friends with. Someone who in the face of greed will betray another one of his friends for the opportunity to reach to the top. He said that he felt bad for taking my stuff after 2 days of thinking it over, but I'm sure the fact that two the the top guilds Seb are associated with all agreed that if Seb didn't give back the gear, he would be expelled from the guild and his friends also telling you to give back the gear was a heavy influence to his decision. His justifications for keeping the gear and blatantly turning a blind eye to a massive scam like this tells you a lot about his character. I thought as a very well known member in the community and a nice guy from the times I've interacted with him, he would have immediately given back the items (like what Valorous did, love you bro <3). This dude may not be the dude you think he is.

    Seb:
My patience is wearing thin and your initial response to this situation has shocked me. You are a well know player, you know better than this. How can after a bit of thinking give you the conclusion to keep my scammed gear? I want my 19 att PGC back because we both know now that iemilyy is a know scammer (which you have mentioned before) and that I am the rightful owner to this cape. I'm sorry I put you up like this, but what you have done cannot go without consequence. I would be doing the community a disservice by letting you be unknown as a supporter for this scam which is one of the reasons why I am making this post. I am sorry if your reputation is ruined but you have chosen to ruin 2 years of hard work for me in this game that I have found a family I can confide in when real life times get tough. This may just simply be a game to you and everything may be pixels, but I have found lasting friendships and relationships in this world. If this is "just a game", how come the few pixels with high numbers have attracted you so much to ruin someone else's time on this server? I am willing to forgive you after the cape is returned, but I will not forget what you have done.

    iemilyy:
I don't know what I have done to make you suddenly retaliate and betray the friendship we had. I am always open to talk, albeit I want your complete honesty of who you are and why. I don't want to hate you, but ruining someone's 2 years of hard work by scamming 200+ bil worth of items should not be the way to act if you feel hurt from me.

This case is still an ongoing investigation in which some people have mentioned different reasons why this may have happened. Some say that this may have been an act between iemilyy and Seb to acquire my gear. I can neither prove or disprove this statement, but I can say that after a few months of no contact with me and iemilyy and suddenly her logging on and only talking to me as much as possible is a bit suspicious. If iemilyy wanted to get the cape back, why was Seb passed the cape along with the gun and shoes? If she truly wanted to scam for her own benefit, why didn't she keep all the gears to herself for personal use? There are still many pieces of this story missing and besides it being a scam story, it's also an odd one too. I will be on the lookout for different reasons as to why this has happened the exact way it did.

My 14 att 3 slot and 9 att 4 slot BWGs are still missing. If anyone has any clues to where they are (I may have a lead on the 9/4 BWG), please let me know ! I appreciate the community for being mostly loving and despite the differences between what each person thinks, the positivity of this community is unrivaled (and that's coming from me trying out a few other popular private servers ;) ). Thank you for your time !

    Peace,
    Jackson

Hey, @Seb ? The "thinking long and hard" and "just can't get it out of my mind how awful this would be for you" were your conscience speaking to you. You listened a little, then tuned it out. But you can't do the right thing only part way.

By saying that you and Jackson aren't good enough friends for you to return his items, you're showing that even you know you haven't done the right thing, yet. Jackson is a person, someone who could have been your friend, and deserving of the same basic respect as your friends.

You can still do the right thing, in its entirety. I, and others, have a great deal of respect for someone who does the wrong thing at first, but ultimately makes it right. Do you really want your legacy on MapleRoyals to be that you scammed someone out of a few items and were ultimately so greedy that you were delusional about having done so?

Just give his stuff back. This is unworthy of him, and unworthy of you, as well.

I would seriously "suicidebomb" the shit out of them all by reporting to the staff that I sold my gear through RWT to those players, had it happened to me. Luckily SnareElite (@randomizer) gave all the items I lent him back after I returned from a 1 year break earlier this year.

Sorry to hear about this Jackson.
Never lend anything to anyone, no matter how close, unless you are okay with it disappearing.
If you can come to terms with that, go ahead and loan it, but if it's something dear to you, don't.

I found it humorous that he mulled the decision whether or not to return the stolen items back to their rightful owner over for 2 days before finally reaffirming his decision not to give back stolen gear.

And the best part about all of this is the mental gymnastics he performed in that time period to justify keeping a stolen gear that he knew belonged to Jackson but was gifted by a "stranger". That is just rich, you may be fooling yourself, but you're not fooling anyone here with that kind of mental gymnastics. It tells a lot about who he is as a person.

Edit: Just wanted to add this thought.

Anyone who's been in this server for an extended time know how small the "Veteran" (for the lack of a better word) community is. Everyone knows each other or at the very least share mutual buddies with one another. Did you honestly think there would be no repercussions with your actions Seb? Esp with Jackson who has a huge forum presence and an ingame presence.

All i have to say now is that i returned HIS gear and kept emily’s so i don’t see the problem.
It’s like getting stuff from a friend who quits but he wants it back when he returns, Emily returned and took HER cape back, which she later gave away again to me.
So Idk what you’re trying to do, but i couldn’t care less about this thread, since i’ve done nothing wrong and gave the items back to the rightfull owner.

Edit: also you’re saying you know it was a scammer and you still hand out your gear to Emily, anyways Im not home atm and i’ll Edit this post later when i get home, cuz Im on my phone now.

I don’t understand how can you still be this salty if Seb have return all the gears you actually owned. Where is this thread before Seb return you stuffs? you only make this because you know no matter what you say to him now doesn’t make the difference since you have already took back what you owned.

You do know at this case, no one can actually force him to return anything.

This is just like you pick up someone’s lost lottery. And let’s say it’s legally if he want to keep it. What can make him return is only what he want to do. It is something worthy and legally, and what he did at the end? return them. But what did he get? nothing but salts.

@Seb, Next time when you want to return anything to anyone, open your eyes and see if worth to do so.

I didn’t know that Buddy equal to Fredrick, give back your gears even you don’t actually know them.

I would like to suggest Matt to extend my buddy list, this is the best solution to avoid scammers according to Jackson.

Btw, what make me look down is blame someone sell other people’s lost stuff instead of return it, and then pm him your offer Lmao.
