IGN: TimSteezy Problem: Miscounted SP awhile ago and screwed up BADLY with my skill levels. Details: I come back from a break of a year or so again as I have done for school, and went to reassign my SP on 2 characters, TimSteezy and Pursuer. However, I wasn't interested in continuing Pursuer and wanted to level my Hero, TimSteezy. When I went to assign his SP, I miscounted horribly and butched: 6 SP on First Job Skills (Have 66SP invested, 6 extra than I should have [10-30 = 20 x 3 = 60 SP, I Invested 66SP]) 10 SP on Second Job Skills (Have 130SP Invested, 10 Extra than I should have [30-70 = 40 x 3= 120SP, I invested 130SP]) 0 SP on Third Job (Have 150 Invested, 0 Extra than I should have [70-120 = 50 x 3= 150SP, I Invested 150SP]) 4th Job skills ruined due to my missing 16 SP. My 4th job only has 11 SP put into it at 127. Was wondering if there was a way you could reset my SP because it has made this characters almost unbearable to train with at his level.
The only way is to use a skill reset from the cash shop. GMs are no longer giving skill points resets after June or July if I recall correctly
Fuck man. I wasn't active around that time so I guess I missed out. Hopefully they make an exception, but who knows.
That's unfortunate, original MS was very poorly designed and had extreme flaws that made things easy to screw up like this. All modern games of today offer Skillbook resets so that people are more willing to experiment with different builds and not everyone follows the same build. It'd be nice if OP had his/her books reset. It would suck bad to play this game for such a long time only to stuff it up like this. I don't even know the OP but GM should help.
