I am seeing inconsistency among GMs dealing with ksing problems. In the " New report abuse format for ksing", Tim mentioned "You asking a person to leave as you would prefer that they didn't train there with you or loot your items, just saying: 'cc (plz)' is not accepted." as the link is below https://royals.ms/forum/threads/new-report-abuse-format-for-ksing.57289/ However I see ban appeals, Charlie said "I'm not quite sure what else you want someone to say to you than "cc pls" & typing ~mapowner to show that they have ownership of the map to which you ignored them. " And Kai seemed to agree with Charlie, as the link is below https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.107555/ Now I am confused that if it will be denied or not that I just report someone with “cc plz” and type ~mapowner(without telling them clearly "change channel please, I own this map, kill stealing is a bannable behavior." ). If only saying "cc plz" and typing ~mapowner are enough, please confirm. Because it will make my life much easier to report people who intentionally or unintentionally killstealed instead of trying to communicate with them and tell them killstealing is unacceptable
I've brought up the issue a long time ago arguing that KS victims should not be obligated to thoroughly express disinterest and have to explain the T&C to the KSer, as it is the responsibility of the KSer to know what the rules are and follow them. Based on Michael's response (an admin at the time), it seems like they changed their policy on reporting KSers but haven't updated the specific details of the abuse report format. EDIT: As nasty as that person was in their ban appeal, he did bring up a fair point that maybe the abuse report format does need to be updated.
You literally answered your question by asking it. Just asking someone to CC isn't enough. Using ~mapowner is more than just saying "cc plz."
