I've seen many of you dealing with this common error code: -2147221008 (CoInitialize has not been called).
    I believe I may have a solution.
    1. Right click Mapleroyals
    2. Click "Properties"
    3. Click the "Compatibility" tab
    4. Mark/unmark the box in the compatibility page once to simply turn on/turn off compatibility mode.
    5. Apply the changes.

This should allow royals to open after the first attempt. If it happens again after that, simply repeat these steps once again and try one more time.
I've done this procedure many times before and I'm quite sure it should work for everyone else.

Hey, not everyone has the "Compatibility" tab in properties. Mind telling me what the box is called that you're suggesting to mark? I'll have to look for it. Is it just called "Compatibility mode"?

It should be compatibilty mode. It's definitely in the properties of Mapleroyals.exe. The box should be right next to the option for compatibility mode.
