Something I have not had confirmed, is whether or not the varying stats of an equips follows some standard deviation or is simply all equally rare. Now, in Royals we have the godly system so I understand that a +10 from average is more rare than +2. Let's take an example, and let's forget about the godly system for a while, (think GMS many years ago) Look at this Eclipse (the awesomest weapon in game, in case you didn't know that already...) Its average attack is 92. It can range from 87-97 (again, forget about the godly system). Does this mean that there is a 1/11 chance to get each and every variation of this weapon, or is it more rare to get 97 ATT than 92? In case the former is true (which has been confirmed to be so for the godly system and chaos scrolls), and we again apply Royals' godly system, then I guess the chance of getting each and every version would look something like the following: One column (the bold one) shows what the stat is for your "normal" weapon, while the rows indicates the rarity of that particular version. To the right is the attack with godly addition, for each and every possible "normal" weapon. If my brain functions properly today (I give with no guarantees), the rarity of Eclipse would be as follows, for each possible version: 87 ATT: 8,3% 88 ATT: 8,5% 89 ATT: 8,6% 90 ATT: 8,8% 91 ATT: 8,9% 92 ATT: 9,1% 93 ATT: 9,1% 94 ATT: 9,1% 95 ATT: 9,1% 96 ATT: 9,1% 97 ATT: 9,1% 98 ATT: 0,8% 99 ATT: 0,6% 100 ATT: 0,5% 101 ATT: 0,3% 102 ATT: 0,2% That's my thoughts. Do you have any thoughts?
I uhh... I'm not sure if these values actually mean any practical value. To me, if I get it, I'm lucky. If I don't, I'm just not grinding long enough to find that perfect one.
Knowing it or not knowing it - it probably is of no practical value. Some people, however, just crave to know things.
As I understand it , each item dropped has a chance to "hit" the godly system which can be +0/+1/+2/+3/+4/+5 on it's stats , so you have the same odds getting any of the listed , but every item also has it's basic attack which is , like you said ranged from the lowest possible to the highest possible (before the godly system) . So let's stick to the Eclipse : Basic attack : 87-97 Godly range : 98-102 So basically every specific attack stat has a number of possibilities to be dropped: For example , 97att : One possibility without godly system :97 6 possibilities with godly system : 92 basic + 5 from godly system 93 basic +4 from godly system 94 + 3 from godly system 95+2 from godly system 96+1 from godly system 97+ 0 from godly system On the other hand ,102 attack has only one possibility (97+5) , and 87 attack has 2 (87 clean , 87+0) So basically each attack stat between 92-97 has 7 possibilities and as you go lower the ladder the chance of getting a stat becomes a bit smaller and as you go upwards the chances are getting way smaller since its only possible with the godly system activated. At least that's how I have been thinking it works for all of these years so if I'm wrong anyone is welcome to pop my bubble
Just a small correction ahi! The godly system also includes the chance that an affected item's stat will be +0. So the att range on an Eclipse affected by the godly system is actually 87-102. For proof, here's a Dark Noel, 7 int 12 weapon defense clean. It's +4 godly int, but the absolute lowest weapon defense. Just because an item is affected by the godly system, it can still have noob stats.
This theory is true if the godly system applies to an item as a whole and not individual for each stat , as I'm not sure to how it works exactly .
Pretty sure it applies to individual stats. From what I remember the godly system applies after normal stats are determined, so something could have the least possible stats normally than get a +5 from the godly system and still be only an average item. Or it can get +2 and be below average. Or the godly stat could apply to something like dad while all other stats are below average and the item could turn out blue, which has happened to me before. Or it could be like Akira's Noel.
Found it guys ez. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/godly-items-explained.1312/ Edit: 1/660 attempts to get a perfect att Eclipse. 11 attempts to get 97 att clean. 110 attempts to get those 97 att cleans to be affected by the godly system. 660 attempts to get a +5 roll on a 97 att clean from the godly system. 0.15% chance.
@Rob what I was wondering about is if the godly system applies to one stat only or affects every stat on the item , not if every stat gets the same boost ! Ok so according to Matt's post godly system applies to the item as a whole (like chaos) and doesn't affect only individual stats like I assumed . Also added a +0 possibility to my post
