Hey guys, I can't wait to get my nostalgic grind going, little scared due to the fact the last time I played I had a big addiction Anyway, I was hoping you guys could let me know if there is a guide on party leveling or it is worth leveling in a group of 2 from the low levels. My friend and I are only going to be playing with each other and we are not sure how much slower it is. I remember that Party grinding wasn't very popular until the higher levels in GMS, so I would love some input, tips, maps, ect ect. Also, best group of 2 dynamics? Priest/anything. Priest/mage if you want to fly through levels. I don't think there's anything wrong with partying. It's good at CPQ. It's good at ghost ship.
Party training is only good if you party with a Priest a high level Holy Symbol or if the map is really big like Forest of Golem.
The way MR is set up you'll most likely only be soloing until Lv. 30 when you gain access to CPQ. From lv. 50 onwards party leveling is pretty fast.
Thanks guys! I'm just looking checking the forums and just wanted to ask if GS2 are usually taken and sold? If I'm in a map with my buddy and we are both 52, are we gonna get ks'd and booted? If you have a GS2 map for you and your friend than there is no reason to get ksed. You can report kser with screenshots on the forum or you may ask a GM in game to help you. There is a lot of people training at GS2 but I always end up finding myself a spot Alternatives are Voodoo/hoodoo, GS5, FoG, LMPQ... feel free to checkout the Guide section on the forum : Here
Royals has strict rules against KS'ing. If you can find a map, it's your map until you leave it, or are both AFK (not killing monsters) for 3 minutes or more. The alternative for clerics is GS5. The alternative for other classes depends on your preference, but is usually recommended to be FoG unless you're a sin or a sair. Other places I've used that are just about as good are V/Hoodoos (whichever one drops Heartstoppers) Water Goblins & Samihos (map before Himes) GS5 as a non-cleric, ludi maze pq, Officer Skeletons (GREAT if they get them working again) and Mu-lung reindeer for the lower end (50-60). Also, in my experience the fastest way to go 21-30 is to go as a party of 2-3 and split an ant tunnel map (1 or 4). Warriors might find this slower than KPQ however. Same deal for ~30-37, splitting a boars map is almost as fast as CPQ provided you aren't a warrior, especially when you consider the amount of time it takes to get a full CPQ party together. It's faster for anyone who isn't a cleric to split the map top & bottom at ghost ship. Clerics might consider splitting left and right, but I can't vouch for how fast it is. It's faster for most anyone to split a map as large as FoG. The other maps I have mentioned are mostly soloing spots. Best of Luck!
