I've been told not to stay dexless. I'm not sure if I should, or not, or when is a good time to start moving to becoming a normal sin. I'm only level 56. What do you guys suggest?
Usually ppl stay dexless till they can wear a lvl 100 or 110 claw. So start saving SP From lvl 90-100 for lvl 100 claw or 100-110 for lvl 110 claw.
You can always change to low dex later, but it costs money to go the other way around. Stay dexless until you have your Zhelm (scrolled for dex), Dep Star, and your bottoms scrolled for dex. Then you'll know how much you need to add to get to a craven or sleeve and you can start adding points to your base.
On GMS and other low rate private servers I've always capped my Dex around 60-70 cause you can usually get 40-50 Dex from your cape, zhelm, top/bottom/overall etc.. quite easily. With a cap of 60-70 you can easily equip level 90 Claws and maybe even 100 Claws with some average scrolled gear.
While this is technically true, you should be aware that because of the bias players have about the gach system in royals, it's quite a bit cheaper to wear a high luk top (meaning you'll get ~5 dex max out of it) and to scroll earrings for luk than for dex. Additionally, you'll eventually want to chaos a pac or pgc and get extra w.atk, so there's no dex from cape. There's still ~25-30 dex to be had out of a zhelm, 15-20 from bottoms, and 5 from a dep star though.
