Try opening multiple clients at once. Highlight the .exe files and press enter 2 or 3 times. It'll take a bit longer to load but once that's done you can close the others.
I've come across the same error code by entering the portal to the left of Empty Village II in Ludibrium Village. My game crashes with the error every time I try to log in to the specific character (so I can't play him until this is fixed D: ), including on different channels. My other characters work fine. If a mod could help make my character playable in the short term that would be appreciated. IGN is Lafcadio.
I've been having the same issue and after a little guess and check, I've found that I only crash when playing in fullscreen. Even after a fresh reinstall, I was crashing every 5-10 minutes while playing fullscreen. I changed to windowed and no longer had any problems. Except that playing in windowed << fullscreen; plzfix.
No, it's the portal to the LEFT of Empty House II in Ludibrium Village (I was entering them one by one from right to left, and Empty House II was the last one I entered safely). The problematic portal should be the third one from the right. The problem originally occurred while I was in fullscreen. The crashes immediately after logging into my character occur in both fullscreen and windowed mode, and both give the same error code as above.
Yep, it's Empty House I. I still immediately crash upon logging in. Have you tried entering the map in fullscreen?
Always. Have you tried restarting your computer or reinstalling the client? The latter should be able to fix it.
Thanks for the help - reinstalling worked, of all things. Didn't think I'd need to since the game was working fine, but I guess it might have been due to version differences.
