is this guide still accurate post new source? the HP gained per wash for Thief is incorrect, I gain 16 HP instead of 24 HP per wash
hi so i should start to do this at lvl 30? i have my gears with int +int base i have total now 130int but i want 150, so when i lvl up now i have to do this method ? 1 ap for hp, use ap reset -mp and add the ap to my stat lets say dex cause im xbowman
hi , something is wrong with "min mp for pirate" i have 955 mp at lvl 47 but : 18*47+111=957 . something is wrong with the guide or i did something wrong and if some one can corect me.
Is there data on how much HP/MP each class gets on level up? I'm ultimately trying to get my Spearman to 30k HP by lv 150 with hyper body (as most are), and I'm wondering if the amount of MP gained per level changes with each job advancement, independent of INT.
For warriors you get around 50 ~ 54 HP on level up because of the 1st job MaxHP skill. As for job advancements, this guide has a chart showing the increases you get. Even though it's hardly possible that HP washing values have changed, please remember that the guide is from Old Source so there is a slight chance the values are off.
I'm a low-funded brawler and have 60 int only by my equipment. I'm gaining extra mana slowly but just curious if i can start hp washing later... I've spent all my money on int gear so i have no meso at the moment. I'm 33 right now and here's my question. Can i start hp washing after like 4th advancement job as buccaneer doesn't usually need hp washing that much until that? The guide says it's good to start it after 2nd advancement job but i can't do it right away cuz i'm poor lol.
All other jobs also dont usually need much hp washing much until after 4th job, but considering that a full wash would need 60+ levels to complete, it's just better to start earlier. If u start at lv 120, u only end washing at lv 180! You do the math. It is correct as of this date. I'm a thief and is currently washing. There's two way of washing, mainly u can read them at Night Lord guide : https://royals.ms/forum/threads/a-comprehensive-night-lord-guide.23303/ under HP Washing section. The two ways are: 1) Using fresh AP from leveling up to add into HP, this will give 20~24 hp increase per AP. 2) Using AP reset to take out AP point from other Ability and add into HP, this will give 16~20 hp increase per AP. You might have washed using the 2nd method.
I'm a bit confused on when i should be HP washing. Do i HAVE to start HP washing after level 30? What happens if I start HP washing at level 100, what difference does it make doesn't it just mean i won't have high HP until i start washing. From my understanding, the only thing critical is getting INT equipment early on so that you can get more MP per level up. Someone correct me if i'm wrong please I'd really like to know if this is true lol
it depends on what class you are. if you're anything but a thief, you can store up mp then wash it all out at once. if you're a thief, what you want to be doing, since fresh AP is worth more than reset AP for them, is every level put 5 AP into HP, then take out that AP from HP and put it into INT, unless you have enough INT already, then you put it in LUK..
Partially true. You can save up for thieves as well, only if you plan on leeching the whole way through (because you're damage is going to be very weak saving up the Fresh AP).
Not exactly an HP washing question, but does anyone know what the level requirement is to add AP points to HP/MP? Plan to simply stat HP on my SE mule, but as of 1st job (level 12) this is not an option.
I'm honestly not quite sure how relevant this guide is anymore, plus i noted some contradicting things in the following comments so I'm not sure what exactly i should be doing so I'd really like some one to go through with me step by step and correct me if i'm wrong as well as answer my questions. See, I want to make a relevant Bow Master and Nightlord. I have some mid tier Int equips prepared already that give me about 50 int in total from the robe, earring, glove, wand and helmet. I stuck them on my Archer as early as possible and have been raising nothing but Int on him, aside from the basic 25 dex. Currently, he's level 17 and sitting at about 122 int total, 50 from equips and base 72 int. So i have the following questions: 1. he only has 293 MP despite all the Int AP i pumped while his minimum MP, according to the formula should be 386. that's a huge difference, why is that? 2. I was originally planning on washing his HP step by step as he levelled, but does that mean it's not feasible now? If so, should I just keep pumping Int until he has enough MP stockpiled to start HP washing? 3. How much Int should i pump exactly if i'm aiming for 9.1k hp for eventual zakum farming @ level 135 give or take? I'm not going to do my Nightlord yet, seems like HP washing that class is even more headache inducing than it already is for my future Bowmaster.
The second method of HP washing no longer works (Adding 1 point to HP then taking out of MP till you hit minMP). As I fighter I'm only getting 20 HP this method, not 50-55 which is what it's supposed to be.
this has changed in year 2018 i believe.. now the conversion is 16mp to 16-20 hp. no matter using ap from leveling or applying reset directly .. sadly
I'm currently level 69 on my hunter, if I were to buy some cheap int equips, put ap points into int and try to level by leeching, is HP-washing still helpful or am I too late to start washing? I never dealt with HP-washing before and now I'm kind of worried that I'm too late to start.
It depends, what’s the reason you are HP washing? Do you want HP for horntail clean or are you okay with always relying on HB?
Considering the fact that the highest level I reached on the original maplestory was 142 I don't think I'll ever be able to fight horntail. However it has always been my goal to fight zakum and papulatus so if I'd have enough HP to fight those bosses I would be happy. If possible I would like to be able to take them on without hyperbody.
You don’t need to HP wash at all then. Especially with he proposed changes coming to the game soon where non-warriors and mages gain an additional 2k HP from job advancements and equipment. The only reason to HP wash now is if you want to Horntail and potentially Pink Bean.
