As the previous thread about voting rules is in <Announcements> it can be annoying seeing it pop up on the main forum page and "mask" actual announcements, so I'm making a thread here.

If you have any questions about the voting rules that can be found HERE, please post and ask, and help each other out.

    Heyo!
How do I apply for the voting Whitelist?
Me and my husband just started playing and we both would like to vote with WiFi and 3G/4G connection. I just got my character to lvl 15, so I've voted once already.
    Anywho. Help pls! Thx :)

    Start here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how-to-register-for-the-voting-whitelist.15374/

Then you and your husband each need to make a thread here: https://royals.ms/forum/forums/apply-here.85/create-thread

You both can use the same photo as long as it follows the guidelines, and please be patient! There's a lot of applications and it takes a little while to get to them. If you have any more questions just let me know!

I have a question. I have two accounts and so far I have been only voting on one account(my first one). I'm starting to play my second account more than my first one now and I was wondering if I can start voting on my second account and stop on my first. So I'll only be voting once per 24hr on my second account if that is allowed.

Yeah, as long as you're only voting every 24 hours, it doesn't matter which account you vote on (as long as it's yours)

But those threads are invisible? Once you submit them, you can't see them anymore? So you mean a GM will private message us?

Once you make a thread, you should be able to see your own thread, just not everyone elses.

Ah, ok. Well, I got an alert saying that my thread was deleted for privacy because it was acknowledged? Assuming that means I got accepted

"One member of the household will be able to vote from their computer; the others will have to vote from their phones or other mobile devices (using 3G/4G, not your home wifi)."

So this means no one HAS to use the wi-fi to vote right? We both want to use our phones LTE so we don't need to be at the computer to try to get close to the 24 hour mark as possible. Seem's legit but I figured I'd ask to be safe.

EDIT: 2nd question, is the voting timer specific to your royals account or to your network?
For example, if I voted on my phone one day and then like 23 hours later tried from some free wi-fi somewhere, when I put the account name into the Royals site would it tell me to wait 60 minutes? (not using any of the same networks as roommate)

    Correct to your first question.

And the timer is specific to the network and account name. If you try to vote on the same account within 24 hours, it won't let you. Additionally, if that network has voted in the past 24 hours, it won't allow another vote from it.

My brother and I both applied for the whitelist and we were just wondering how soon we could expect to have our request approved? We applied around 2:00 PM (Mountain Time) yesterday, so I didn't want to jump the gun if you all have a lot of applications to go through.

I usually vote from my laptop on my home wi-fi, but I was wondering if we could use our phone (on LTE) to vote whenever I don't have access to my laptop every 24 hours. Just want to make sure that if I were to vote every 24 hours (and not on both networks) I should be fine, right?

You're fine as long as you only vote once every 24 hours, regardless of your connection.
