Increase drop rate of the turkey from Thanksgiving Event!

I've already completed it 3 times since the server check. Idk why my experience differs so much from the rest of you, but I'll just state what I did.

I'm a 122 bishop. I go to hhg1, find an empty channel, use mapowner to make sure no one owns the channel, proceeds to teleport and shining ray (not gene) circling the map for 15-20min (and completing it), 1 turkey spawns approx 2-6min.

I timed myself using mapowner.

I also sold leech at Jr wraiths and collected the ingredients, but it feels like gene makes the turkey spawns less/drop less ingredients or something (not tested, just feels like it takes about an hour to complete the four ingredients at Jr wraiths)

Edit 1: It might just be that I'm really lucky to be able to complete in 15-20min for 2 times at hhg1. Just stating my experience, don't flame just because you spent more time, thanks.

 

first, not everyone have high level mage (even tho i got one)..
second, ive train in a single map for over an hour or so with my bish lv137 and had about 10-13 turkeys spawn (only one of them drop 2 ingredients at the same time and the rest drop absolutely nothing)
and since i have a job, study, and somewhat social life, 1 hour is all i got per day as free time..

casual players effected by decisions to make this event bit harder for more hardcore players / people with a lot of free time on their hand..

People shouldn't have to go to low level maps to get event drops; anyone who's hunting or grinding normally should be able to complete the event. I played for six hours last night, and didn't see a single turkey.

Also, since the event is rather short and a day has been wasted for many of us, maybe extend it for a day or reduce the number of pumpkin pies needed to get the ring?

 

Drop rate doesn't seem to be the biggest issue for me.
The problem is the spawn rate... sometimes it takes 10 minutes, or even more, to find one.
Took me two hours to complete the trade once.
If the spawn rate was at least 4 times the actual, the drop rate wouldn't be a issue.

Not many people can sit and play for longer hours for this.
We have work, school, family business.

Can confirm the spawn rate has been increased! Managed to complete the ingredients within an hour for 3 characters, just by killing snails at HHG1!

I haven't even seen one since the spawn rate was supposedly increased.

Also can we please please please please have the stuff be stackable? This is gonna be ridiculously annoying otherwise.

It took me 1 hour 12 mins in HHG1 on my 134 Bish to get all the ingredients.

 

Yeah seems like last night was a stroke of luck. Took me 2 hours+ today -_- half of the turkeys dropped nothing or just mesos again.

its just the fact that we can't stack* them ruin every bit of fun this event offer..

I spent a few hours last night with my bishop at HH2, the spawn doesn't seem to be any better but i could be wrong... honestly i just want these things to be stack able. I have found several flour and pie crusts, too bad i can't keep them and make the most of my play time :/

 

I'm a lvl 50 ice/lightning mage and can tell, it is still hard for us new players to complete this, even tho I have aoe skill, can't compete with all those high lvl aoe skills. Can barely complete it, don't think we can make it, this just shows that new players won't be able to get something from this event unless they're really lucky. Not complaning, just a casual player but cmon, not everyone have big aoe or mage mule here

 

Seems like the spawn rate really was increased, slightly.
But looks like the drop rate was lowered somehow...
In half hour I managed to kill 8~10 Turkeys (double the ammount could find before), but ONLY ONE dropped an etc.

Edit:

After going to collect on my other chars, it seemd to be better.
Probably it's a matter of luck now to drop or not.
The turkeys are spawning in a rate of 1~5 minutes each.
I could find drops from 1/4 of the Turkeys I found.

Hi, day 3 reporting in. Half of the turkeys are still dropping mesos/nothing. Make them drop at least 1 or 2 ingredients!!

 

Been doing HHG1-2 and kerning subway line 1 with an AM and a BS. And it still takes me like 45 minutes just to finish on 2 characters.
