Is it possible to make the exchange unlimited. To me zak helm isnt as useful if i can chaosed a 6atk pilgrim hat.
Is it limited? Tbh I don't think 6atk pilgrim hat is worth over zhelm. Most attacker classes uses two stats (main and secondary) A good zhelm scrolled with 60%s may go up to 60 stats (ex 40dex +20str/luk) total. 6atk x5 (reg stats multiplier) = 30 stats +20 (10/10) = 50 stats total. Unless you're a dexless thief, then a +40dex zhelm would be useless XD
well if you consider 1 hat/year and an expensive 1 slot gamble as a major competition to zakum helmets, then, my friend, you're not my friend then. jk but it isn't really game breaking to get a shot each year to get some more +attk on a hat.
its not our intention to lock all (potentially) best in slot items behind holiday rewards. If you're lucky you can get a really good chaosed hat!
I actually don mind it being 1slot, but the quest is not repeatable. With news on HT to be released latest ~Feb. I personally feels that if dex isn’t my primary stats, Pilgrim Hat would be a better choice for me.
Just a happy coincidence? Honestly though the even favors mages and classes with AoE skills, who won't benefit from the reward as much. I'm doing it but just for fun.
The same way 4th anniversary scarf was available only during the anniversary event but we could exchange it as many time as we wanted. I was hoping same could be done with pilgrim hat
Kinda ruins zhelms if everybody just waits til thanksgiving and makes themselves a 6att pilgrim hat. Its by far the best in game so to keep it rare is probably a good thing
As far as I know, 6att pilgrim hat is only better than zhelm for Drk since no dex is required. Every attempt to chaos Pilgrim hat would require 100m~ (for crafting, if had to purchase all pieces) + 500m~(CS at current price) = 600m+. All other classes would attempt to get a scrolled godly zhelm since it'll be cheaper and more likely to give them better stats.
As much as I would love to see the quest repeatable (Drk is one of my mains) , I don't think it's a good idea . The 2 main reasons people kill zak for are gen20 gains and zhelms , unlimited amount of pilgrim hats (also takes no effort to obtain) will ruin the idea of zakum . The same way MoN (which I assume would get nerfed ) shouldn't be better than HTP , which is a few times harder to obtain . Also , end-game zhelm 95% of the time stands for a godly clean one + WS 60 10 slots , and saying it's cheaper than chaosing a bunch of pilgrim hats is not exactly true .
