    My thought on this: I was able to complete collecting all the ingredients for my 3 characters in 1 hour and 11 minutes, excluding another 30 minutes I spent earlier today which I was able to collect 3/4 on my hermit, which you can tally with the ingredients I collected. To make things easier, #2 & #9 is one set, #9-11 second set, and #LAST complete the 3/4 I found earlier today. While this may appear to be a reasonable time, please bear in mind that I had haste and I was able to clear waves with ease using Avenger. What about my fellow thief counterpart, bandits, or fire/poison wizards who only have single target skills? Or the fellow melee and not-so-mobile warriors? I'm sure bandits, f/p wizards and warriors, especially lower level ones, will take even longer time, on average, to complete a set for turn in.

    Also, there should be at least another NPC stationed at Ludibrium for the turn in, not just one at Henesys.

    Conclusion: Buff drop rate!

    Duo'd Kerning subway first map with @Foxi for an hour and 30 minutes. We both used 2 mages each (4 total) to kill the entire map. In 1hr 30min we were able to farm 10 total sets of pie items. Thank god for owning multiple mages.

    To summarize some data from this thread and provide my own, here are the findings of players since @Stan 's last post announcing the rates were buffed;

    People who posted already
    1 char completed, 72mins (Bishop)
    1 char completed, 120mins+ (unsure)
    1 char completed, 30mins (unsure)
    2 chars completed, 45mins (Two mages on one map)
    3 chars completed, 101min (Thief)
    1 char completed, 60min (unsure)
    10 chars completed, 90min (Four mages on one map)

    My own findings
    18 chars completed, 312mins
    9 chars completed, 147mins
    9 chars completed, 186mins
    18 chars completed, 326mins

    All done on Henesys Hunting Ground 1 solo on a Bishop. Occasional drops were taken from friends on other channels, and occasional drops were given to friends as well. Drops given away are not counted in the completion counts.

    To create an average considering all of the above data, 73 characters have been completed over a total of 1,489 minutes (24.8 hours). This creates an average of approximately 20.4 minutes to complete one turn in. Ignoring the two largest outliers of the 120min+ 1 char completion and the use of four mages on the same map to farm as optimally as possible and completing 10 characters in 90 minutes, the numbers are instead 1,136mins to complete 52 characters, raising the average to just under 21 minutes.

    Using the average between those two numbers as a general guideline, the event will require a total of 5,175 minutes distributed through the members of a guild that attempts to complete 250 pies. The event was stated to last from the 23rd of November until the 7th of December, a total of 15 days. Assuming the event is completed equally over every day, this requires a total of 345 minutes invested per day from the guild. This number would also equate to 17 characters per day being completed for the first 10 days, and 16 on the last 5 days. Now for some logic. If my guild has 10 active players with only one character each, seven of us have to complete the event at least twice, being 41.4 minutes each, with the rest investing half that at the standard 20.7 minutes. If my guild has only five active members, we now need to complete this event three times each, with two members needing a fourth completion. This is over an hour of time invested each day for all fifteen days, and for two players, close to an hour and a half. If a guild has twenty active players, each player needs to invest only 20.7 minutes per day and the event will indeed be completed early.

    Use the above information to formulate your own thoughts. Here are mine;

    For any smaller guild, this is a lot of effort, especially with the inability to stack up items ahead of time so as to put in the effort when you have time to rather than when the game forces you to. If you need to complete three characters per day due to being a member of a smaller guild, you are forced to either have three characters or to spend time playing MapleRoyals three times per day with a six hour window in between time. You can collect ingredients and turn them in then immediately collect them again to lump it together, but you can only "save" the time once for every time you have to use that time. As you may have imagined judging from my own personal data provided, I personally lead my guild by example and attempt to complete as many pies as possible on my own while also doing my best not to leech completion from other guilds.

    [IMG]

    Despite our efforts, my guild has only barely surpassed the halfway mark as of today's date - Heroes sits at 137 completions on day 8 of the event. This is good for 25th of all guilds on MapleRoyals. There are only 29 guilds that have reached this halfway mark as of the time of writing this. Over the span of this event, I am currently personally on pace for approximately 23 hours of effort towards receiving this prize. The average player turning in just one pie every day for fifteen days looks at putting in approximately 5 hours of effort towards receiving the prize. As I said before, I put in the time that I do in an attempt to lead my guild by example and motivate my members to participate, and I'm fairly certain that no prize you give will be nearly as worth my time as watching my guild members play and have fun. I do have to say that I believe that 5 hours of effort for each member of even a large guild stepping forward the bare minimum is a very high amount for one prize at the end.

    Of course, I have no clue as to what the secret surprise is. I just hope that whatever it turns out to be, it's worth taking that much time collectively out of so many peoples' two weeks. I have the sneaking suspicion that it won't be, though.

    tl;dr: this event currently takes a significant amount of time for players, even from large guilds. Rates should be increased on either turkey spawns, or the droprates of the items themselves, if not both. If the rates stay as they currently are, I would be very disappointed to receive a prize that is similar to what the last prize was for this type of event; the chair received was quite frankly poor quality and underwhelming, and I very much recall a lot of displeasure over it.

    For anyone curious; this is what the prize was the previous time this event was held. I would really, really hope that this is not the prize again.

    What really disappoints me is how people manage to turn this from a fun and friendly competition into something where they are expecting some great prize and saying if it’s going to be just a chair, they’ll be disappointed. (note for those who miss the point of my post entirely and are reading this just to try and figure out what the prize is: I have no idea. Other members of staff are involved in the prize discussion, so don’t read between the lines).

    This event was never intended to be anything but a two week “quest” to celebrate the American Thanksgiving holiday with accompanying theming. If we are going to get this many complaints and negativity, maybe it really isn’t worth hosting this event next year. This community really needs to find how to have fun again.

    You literally proved my point with this post. The ring is not OP and is not meant to be OP. It's a reward for taking the time to complete the quest. It's not something to be jumping up and down angry that you didn't get, you just didn't get it for one reason or another. There's other events you'll probably participate in where you'll get the event item and someone else won't. Life goes on.

    And this thread is meant to help players to celebrate the event in a more relaxing way. Have you personally hunted the turkeys down yourself John? I have, many others have. And if it's one thing that many can agree on, is that the turkeys are spawning and dropping the ingredients in a very time consuming, frustrating way.

    And you're not helping.

    I have not played in almost the whole week, but I got the ingredients, after being with 3 more people on the map, and this because they could not collect more, it is difficult for casual players to complete this, but as it says , the ring is not very strong, so I think I will pass this event, it consumes a lot of time and effort. Greetings to those guys who live in the game and do not know anything else xD.

    Make zombie army rings and pumpkin rings (and all other 1/1/1/1 stat rings) tradeabe and multiple wearable. Its "just" a small reward but can help enormously in stats
