This is simply wonderful! You really worked realism in effectively, without losing the fantasy feel. Possibly the most nostalgic thing anywhere on Royals.

 

There is a lot of things I have been working on and this is project was one of them on which I gave 3 months of work, my plan came when I published few images on reddit and Nexon global contacted me and said that they would be happy to upload my work and share on their public pages. I was happy because I had so much response from community and I thought I could make it bigger turn my work into animation and I did, but there things went not so well, when I approached Nexon once again to share my work they didn't respond and week later I found out that my work would cause a lot off backlash from community with the current maplesotry situation, And I can understand why as they slowly losing more players with the updates going very sorrow, and I don't think I have to really explain it in detail what would happen by giving all fans nostalgia, what is important is that I wanted to help Nexon to bring back some of the elements that made maplestory great, but in the end I felt denied and there is not much I can do about it.

 

it took me 3 months to finish. It could be done within 3 weeks but my work schedule was full, not sure if I will do more in the future that depends how much views and response I will have from the community.

Just spent a while on your website. There's something really cool about hand animated stuff. I'm expecialy a big fan of your Diablo backrounds.

 

cheers man! am a fan of Diablo II and I wished I had more motivation to put down animation preview of Diablo Anime because that staff will be amazing. Am lacking in skill of commercializing myself and am clueless of how to actually wiggle my self into animation & gaming business, don't understand networking that much, however am happy to see my art that is inspiration to someone am positive that you will see my animation clips of Diablo in near future .
I'm planning to do more maplestory anime too if the viewer-ship gets bigger.

 

The mage in your video put too much ap into STR and put too much sp into magic armor. Smashing stump with wand with 12 damage, and only took 1 touch dmg...#remakeplz

 

haha i was down playing magicians for many hours you did took 1 damage if bought armor equipped with LvL 13 and staff was Lvl 15 also she is a Lvl 16 a proximately you could deal 12 damage as well. I love when people noticing the small details like that xD, when I was animating that scene I was playing around with the mage character I think she doesn't want to use mp pots so she tried to smack the stump down which apparently takes long and awkward for her was funny though..

Also, I love all the little details, like how the thief stars get blocked by the ground just like in the game

 

Oh my god this is really cool! You really put a lot of care into the attention to detail, this really feels like an accurate and well observed recreation of what it feels like to hunt in ellinia. You really captured that so well, good job!!

 

It's scary how well this captures the experience. Outstanding work.
