I'd LMPQ till lvl 72 since you can make quite a bit of money from the rog sacks and ciders you get. From 72-81 you can solo train at GS2, doesn't take that long (probably 7 hours at most). But yeah for the sole purpose of creating the HSer, if you've got enough cash then go for the leech. Other than that, that was a good humorous guide.
Luk mages are SUBOPTIMAL. That quote makes me angry. Sir, there is nothing wrong with Luk mages. I (PoisonFang) myself am a luk mage and I actually enjoy being able to wear high level armor. a Lukless mage is stuck with an overly expensive bathrobe while I can do my robe shopping in under 5 million meso. a LUKLESS mage has to buy a godly LUKLESS wand that costs an exorbitant amount of money where as every few levels I can buy an above average wand that's just as good for less than 10 mill. At lv 163, a Luk mage has the most powerful wand and can completely outclass a lukless ASSUMING his other gear is decent. Lukless mages are NOT suboptimal. They conserve more money than a lukless. However, In this thread you speak of getting an HS mule, which makes my argument invalid. Just wanted to shed some light on the blind people that think lukless are weak -.-
False actually. You need really godly gear to outclass Lukless mages even after getting the 163 staff because if it's exorbitant luk cost. Luk mages are only better from 80-129 and 163+ if they're SUPER godly.

Lukless are inferior. Luckless gear costs the same amount to scroll. Lukless weapons cost slughtly more, however, a 130 ele wand far outclasses any other wand or staff for any mage class. Is the difference as big as it's made out to be, if you put time and effort in to find really far above average luk equips and get lucky with scrolling? No, but luckless are still better. As to your comment about the 163 wand being better... it's not, and if you don't believe me you can pm robb, who is a level 200 luk mage who went luk despite it being inferior for the novelty. 180 TMA on the lv 163 Staff where as you need to get lucky with scrolling on an Ele wand 5/6/7/8. Now assume you hit a couple 30's and 60% it. perfect staff. nearly 200 M. att + the bonus Int. the MAX amount of M att an elemental wand 5 etc can have is about 180 if I'm not mistaken. Luk CAN be better, if you spend SOOOO much more than luk mages. For example, if I perfect scroll my 188 tma clean staff, scroll a 10/8+ clean overall for luk (for minimum possible base luk), get godly clean shoes and gloves (7/7+), and godly scrolled everything, then yes a luk Mage will be better.
If all you're making is a HS/door mule, all you need is plenty of MP (and maybe some decent HP equips) for survivability, a good supply of pots and some rocks if you're going to be using Door. It's hardly worth having the luk/lukless debate over a mule. And this thread isn't about making a Bishop, it's about making a HS-mule. Edit: Having a few teleport rocks on board is kind of handy, too!
Even then, Level 23 Mage Equips can get 7-8 INT clean easily thanks to the godly system. All you need is a Zakum Helmet and a Deputy Star. Blue Jewelry Shoes can get 7 INT clean and Yellow Snowshoes can go 8 INT clean. There are Level 23 Overalls that can go 8 INT clean. No glove will probably ever be better than a 21/21 Brown Work Glove and even then, there are Common Gloves that get upwards of 3 INT clean.
Pretty much this. You can get high int clean equips as a luckless mage insanely easy. Luk mages are suboptimal. The LUK you require to even equip the lv163 staff (Which I'll assume is around 130-145, since you should be gaining about 20 luck from zak+dep minimum and then maybe you'll have some splash luck from your overall.) is put straight into int for a lukless. This effectively makes our lv130 wand have +130 INT on your staff. If I'm comparing my luckless wand(which is far from perfect) to a perfect elemental staff... Perfect Elemental Staff 6: 24(3 clean) int 223(188 clean) matt => 247 TMA(Possibly 252TMA if this wand can go to 8int clean) My Elemental Wand: 12 INT 6 LUK 171 matt. => 183 TMA(And that's only 4 30s landed, no 60s)... But then I also have likely around 130 int more than you => 183+120 => 313TMA. I've got a LUK mage too and it's cool getting to wear the other equips... But to argue that they aren't suboptimally built is silly. ._. Disclaimer: Yes, you may have less luck than mentioned here. But, that would also mean you're investing in luck equips instead of int which would just then mean that our other equips would have higher int also. -_-;
