Hi guys, currently new to the server. Enjoying the game so far after being away from MSEA for a long time. I am thinking of creating a dexless sin, which I understand doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to equipment. As such, this means that the character is going to have low weapon/magic def. Furthermore, I am aware that playing a thief class means that the character is going to have a lower HP, as compared to other classes such as warriors/pirates. I intend to get zak service at lv 50 and I am not certain on a few things. Hence, I would like to ask funded/unfunded dexless assassins/hermits/nightlords; 1)what would be an appropriate level to try and acquire a zakum helmet? 2) Is there anyone who did HP washing at a lower level (maybe 2nd job onward) so that they can survive a hit from zakum.? I previously read from a guide that the minimum HP required to survive is 3.2k, which means that if I intend to get zak service at lv 50, I would definitely need to get HB as well. But I heard that a sin at lv 50 cannot reach 3.2k hp even with HB. 3) Therefore, I like to also know whether there are any lv 50+ dexless sins in the game that managed to successfully survive the zak run. Appreciate any comments/responses on these questions. Thanks!
I sold a helm before to someone at level 50 with 1.5k hp he kept dieing but we brought along enough bishops to resurrect him right before the 10 min death timer sends you to town. Its not impossible but if you wait till like level 60 or so it will be a lot more easy to do.
with a hb mule.. u can surely get the helm without hp washing, even with hp washing, its simple to reach 3.2k at lv50
I obtained my zakum helmet on my sin at level 50. I did about 35 washes and brought my HB mule along. Had abit over 3.2k HP then.

Yeah, it's do-able. I got my NL helmed at lvl50 but I had done some hp washing and I had hp equips. When you have 2k hp, you can survive zak with hyper body.
Thanks for the response guys! Appreciate the input. Well I managed to gather some equipment for my dexless sin, but I am not that funded unfortunately. Guess I'll get started soon once I'm ready then.
To answer your first question: You can get it at any level, as long as it's below 51. And well, you need to be 50 to enter Zak. (Sorry, mind my irony) What I'm trying to say is, if you're that kind of serious about your character (which you seem to be when you talk about dexless and hp washing) you should get it at 50. For the other questions, I can't answer as an experienced NL because I've never made one. But still, I dare to guarantee that you can survive Zakum, without Hp washing (I'm not saying you should avoid HP washing) by only getting some HP gear that will cost you near to nothing. So people say you need 3200 hp. This depends on a lot of factors, and I believe you can often manage with less (I recall my brother having less than 3000 on his Gunslinger, but don't take this for fact - it was long time ago). 1920 HP will do as this will get you to 3200 with HB, and I wouldn't recommend you try without HB. I'm not the person to tell exactly what HP a Lv.50 Assassin has, but I'm sure getting to 1920 will be easy. I even have some HP equips you could borrow that'd get you around +300
I made huge hp gear for very cheap. Most hp scrolls you can get for next to nothing. My washing sin I had about 2.1k hp without HB at 50 while wearing my hp gear. HB put me well over the req hp
