A RACE THROUGH MAPLE ISLAND! Wednesday, July 30th at 3pm PST (6pm EST / 11pm GMT / 12am Server Time) [Correct me if I'm wrong] [Time won't change. Leave me alone.] PRIZES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Chaos Scroll 22 DEX robe (Male) 20 LUK robe (Male) Red Round Chair Yellow Relaxer Green Chair [Just as awesome as a chaos scroll] Pink Seal Cushion HOW IT WILL WORK: At the starting time, everyone will gather in FM ch1 on their mains. I will then yell out a word like "PENGUIN" and everyone will then create a character with the name "penguin5" or "penguin1757" or any number. Everyone will try to get to lvl 10 as quickly as possible in any channel they desire. The first person to arrive at the boat in Southperry and touch my chacater named "FinishLine" IN CHANNEL 1 will get first prize pick, and 2nd, and so on and so forth. IN CHANNEL 1! That is the only channel I will be monitoring. If you take the boat to Lith Harbor without touching the "FinishLine" in channel 1, you lose. RULEZ: You win when you touch the character named "FinishLine" at the boat in Southperry when you are level 10! YOU MUST BE IN CHANNEL 1! There will be a naming regimen that will be revealed at the time of the event in the FM ch1, so no one can lvl a nub to lvl 10 and keep it in maple island. (e.g. Participant1, Participant2, Participant20475.) But not that ofc. As soon as I reveal the naming regimen, you may then proceed to create your new character and start on your quest through maple island. Kill stealing is encouraged. It'll be a fracking murderfest. Quests are okay of course. I realize certain quests require items and can be completed without effort if you multi-client and give the items to yourself. I cannot control this, and those quests give shit experience as it is, so no big deal. PUT ALL YOUR POINTS INTO STR!!! Do Bari's quest on the way to Southperry. It gives 700 exp which is like 50% of lvl 9-10, and 100 potions. It only costs 1 orange mushroom cap. If I find a participant leeching an islander, that participant will be disqualified. Practicing beforehand is fine. Prepare for the chaos. The more you complain about the lagg, the bigger my penis gets. I love you all ^-^ Now here's my two cents on the pony thing: It's really not some sort of gay pony love. In fact, it's not really even about the ponies at all. The ponies are more of a symbol. Yes, we enjoy the show because it showcases some of our favorite moral lessons, but showing off our Brony-ism has nothing to do with being obsessed with ponies. Rather, it has everything to do with being proud to be part of a movement. Growing up in our generation with the news and 9/11; and imo, more importantly, the internet, where people will hate at the drop of a hat; we grow resigned to the fate of society as being run by greed and selfishness. When we find out of the blue that there's a community dedicated to love, tolerance, friendship, kindness, and selflessness; we can't help but want to scream it at the top of our lungs. It's such a relief to meet these people, and just have fun and smile. And honestly, I think this community has the power to make some monumental change if given a push to do something. Sure, there are many autistic people in the community, but of course they show up to places where they know they will be welcomed whole-heartedly by the free-thinking modern day hippies known as Bronies, so come one, come all! So if you think Bronies are all about sexualizing ponies, then you are sadly mistaken and ignorant, but the hate doesn't bother us. We go into this knowing we'll be shot down. But as far as I am concerned, there is no greater cause to fight for than a cause that fights for kindness. ^-^
Maybe I'll practice getting to level 10 xD. I went to a season premier event during the fall and had a lot of fun so I hope you have fun at the con.
