Can you make the egg quest repeatable so if you egg an htp you could still have a chance to reloot later and egg another one?
For what it's worth, this is how it is like in official. I think it's good to keep it as it is, else people can just farm HTP.
I think it's not really fair that people can't reloot after they egged once. Especially after new source probably everyone egged cause otherwise you'd have to wait a year for new htp. The way it is now you have to either egg or reloot like 30+ times to get a good one which can take very long and for people who buy htp it will be a problem too cause they'll get bad stats. Also the official server didn't have any godly system and the max you could get was like 9 stats so it's entirely different.
I think it's fair because you get to choose whether you want to egg your current HTP. If you think it's not good enough, then wait till you get a good one before you egg it.
I personally think it could be an interesting change and could likely help with issues surrounding balancing HTP to MoN.
if this change is implemented, it will only make the game even easier it was before. since htp is your end game pendant, i think it should require some work to get a decent one.
I like the idea of being able to egg ur pendant a second time. However, maybe it would be better if it would require a certain amount of HT kills before u can use the 2nd egg?
I don't think the idea is to allow a HTP to be egged twice, just that you can drop an egged HTP > loot another > and egg the first slot on the new one. Currently you can only ever egg a HTP once per character.
Played on another pserver earlier in the year which didn't have the great godly system we have & surprisingly selling HTP service to players there who just turned lvl 120 was as similar to buying zhelms at lvl 50+ on here. Stats on an htp clean ranged from only 6-8 all there. By letting us egg more then once I'm 100% positive htp service will be more common than it ever was (good for attackers who want that ) seeing as new & old players could always reloot later on for a godly. Also ive heard a couple of horror stories on people accidently dropping/using their nine eggs , i'm +1.
You know what wouldn't be good for the game? Using HTP Eggs into Bow-ties. Yes, I've seen a pserver with that before... +105 all stats pendant for Lv0 chars. Being able to try again after you already had a bad pendant isn't bad for the game at all, just makes it easier to reach your goal. You could buy a pendant at lv12x to make your leveling easier, then reloot others when you're strong enough to fight it yourself.
I agree to this idea as well. While i understand the official version only allowed for 1 egging the problem in this server is that items are affected with the godly system making it 100x harder to get a perfect horntail pendant
It would also allow those rich perfectionists to start chaosing their HTPs which may or may not be desired
Hehe I egged my HTP pre-new source because I was in a rush to equip my Nisrock and grab any extra STR I could since I wanted to stay really low STR. When I was a noob, I was given the chance to egg mine and so I did it for the STR boost, not knowing you couldn't ever egg another pendant. Now every time I see HT die, I wish I could reloot. Ahhh this would be a nice change indeed!!
I take back what I said. I accidentally egged a 6 INT HTP on my Bishop. Definitely would like to see this idea being implemented, but still keeping to the concept of only being able to scroll a HTP once. This simply requires a patch or something to modify the slot to 1 instead of 3!
