Very low drop rate on the star of maplemas spirits ;/ kinda sad to farm 3k when 100 takes 2h to grind imo. Also is the weapons even drop?

 

I haven't been able to play MapleRoyals for the last ~11 months now, but you should create a Thread in the Feedback Section of the Forums. It can genuinely make a difference as the droprates of Event Etc Items in several past events have been altered because of so.

 

How many people still play actively? Might come back! Let me know..

It will eventually come back. I guarantee that it is not gone forever. As for when, I have no idea. SoonTM, kek.
