Hello! I'm a new player who wants to play as a corsair. Before i make the character however, i want to be sure that i can someday go to horntail. I understand the basics of HP washing and so on, but the information about washing corsairs is pretty hard to grasp. I've read that corsairs can now HP wash as much as they want, and just use other HP pots, so that they dont lose ship quickly to the 1/1 attacks from bosses. It isn't important for me to get xxProHorntailQuickscoerxx 30k hp, just as much as the "comfortable minimum". What would be the optimal path to this goal? Thank you.
I'm not a sair player myself but as far as I know, I'd recommend you wash until 11k-12k hp. Which won't be as expensive to reach as godly hp, will be comfortable to survive ht without the ship, you can even survive bosses like Toad with hb when again you're off the ship and well you'll be safe overall. If you're not worried about Toad, then just go over the minimum required for HT so you'd have no worries during the run
I personally think that 30k hp is unnecessary and a waste of money for most of the classes and especially for corsair , since most of the time you wouldn't even use half of it , 10-12 is enough
