Sooo at the risk of sounding super petty and cheap, I want to raise a couple points about the travel fastpass. Sorry. Kinda. Not really. The fastpass is totally awesome and useful and great, let's start with that. It does, however, costs a fair amount, especially over time, which is totally fine like that's not an issue. I'm just wonderrrrrring, if I'm paying a fair amount of mesos for an unlimited travel fastpass, it should be an unlimited travel fastpass no? Currently, it works fabulously for many journeys, especially the really long orbis ones but there's a few journeys it doesn't include that I think it should. The crane to and from Mu Lung for example, is only a one minute journey and yes, there is no waiting time for takeoff but still, should that not be skipped with the fastpass? Another example is the elevator in the helios towers, it's still travel time and in this case you still have to wait for take off too so it can be quite time consuming which is what the fastpass should be preventing. I'm wondering about the rocks in the eos towers as well, I suppose it's not a ride but it's still a form of travel in the game so should you not be able to go up and down those for free with the fastpass too? And just to be really cheap whilst we're already on the topic, should we be paying for cabs? I know the 800 meso victoria island rides are no biggie (altho still a travel method) but the VIP cabs are 50k, which adds up, on top of the meso we're already paying for the fast track ticket... Sorry, it's not that big a deal, but wanted to say something! <3
Support everything in the above. All of it is stuff people that are in my circles have wondered why isn’t already built into the Ticket. Hope to see our Fast Travel Pass become a true travel privilege item rather than just a “skip boats, planes and trains” ticket.
I don't know if the rocks on towers are applicable since the scrolls for those are received by doing quests and not by buying tickets even though it would be really convenient if it applies in those as well but all the others I totally agree ! It only covers the popular most used ways of transport atm ..
I like this. Especially for the EOS tower travel. This may increase the foot traffic for omega sector.
I agree with Mu Lung bird, Tower Elevator, and anything else that the ticket doesn't help atm. Disagree with Tower Rocks tho, there are quests for them, you don't have to burn mesos, and they're pretty easy to do. Specially Ludi one, kill a few rats and get 20 scrolls.
I totally get that, it's not about it being difficult or expensive but rather if the ticket is supposed to give the player unlimited fast travel... I don't see why not include all the ways we travel?
Tower Rocks aren't necessary a Travel, since it's instant. It's the same as a Taxi Cab from Victoria, or the Dark Cabs in some towns. You give them something (mesos, scrolls) and get instantly there. The Fast Pass Ticket is something made for people to gain Time by skipping travels.
Why would you pay 3mil for a ticket to go through a portal without a Seed that costs 30k? Also it comes to what I said before, it's an instant pass, not a travel.
Totally get that it's instant, this is not about time, this is me being hella cheap. lol. I get it has its own form of payment (mesos, scrolls, seed) but if I buy a ticket that covers travel still think it counts :3 Just because there isn't any travel time (imo) doesn't mean it's not travel because it still gets you from point A to point B. Edit: Travel by definition: "to move or undergo transmission from one place to another"
