probably an unpopular opinion but, I don't think you should be able to re-egg the first slot of your htp mainly because it kind of takes out the accomplishment/competitiveness spirit of actually getting a good one. (this is coming from someone that has 2 good pendants on 2 different characters) if thats the case, what would happen to the people that already chaosed their htp after egging?
I would support this, especially for players who have been here a while. Two years ago it was probably more difficult to run Horntail so also harder to get a good godly drop. With this added, veteran players will have more reason to run Horntail again to increase their character's stats.
Lol veteran players have plenty of incentive to HT with book money and exp. This hasn't really been stated here, but this is a change that only benefits veteran players who knew full well what they were doing when they egged their pendants. Really all this change will do is make it harder for newer players to even get pendants since pretty much everyone will start relooting. That said, I really don't care cause my BM has a 13/12, and my mage got an 11int; however, the game is hostile enough for new players given the requirements for HP washing and the inherent hostility of the AP reset and CS/WS market right now... I don't see why it should be made even worse lol. I'm curious as to if any you believe that this would be a good change because it'd be a healthy change, and not just because you want to re-egg/reloot your pendants; you know, just given your forum account creation dates and what not.
New players benefit from it though, they could buy htp and egg it immediately instead of having to reloot it like 30 times before they can egg, then when they get to a high lvl they could try to reloot again and get a better one instead of getting stuck with a clean htp for months
Even if you don't reloot getting an average htp with like 8 int and egging it will give you 23 which isn't bad at all and could last you for quite a while. You won't need to reloot it until much later when you have good gear already and try to perfect everything. Right now you can't do that cause if you egg you'd get stuck with it forever
Whoa if you do that, that removes the possibility of chaosing pendents + egg (which I know people would do)
So is that a good thing or bad thing? Like I mentioned, CS doesn't work on HTP at the moment. Not sure if it will ever be. Edit: My bad, first slot is reserved for Dragon Stone. So yes, you can CS it for subsequent slots.
This change would be a redemption for my nl's pendant because i mistakenly dropped my dragon stone a couple months ago !
