Quest Bugs

Thanks. But damn, just want to know how long did that take you?

 

I don't remember, I got the majority of the masks about 2 years ago
I think I spent a while grinding in both ToT3 and RoR3 just because it was a good place at one point. Only had to farm the angry masks in new source and I got some from a guildy to finish it.

• Location: Korean Folk Town
• NPC: A familiar lady
• Details: I don't really know what WAS supposed to happen, but all it did is ask me to report this NPC as broken.
• Also she took my tail..

 

Anyone know when the broken quests (Pia, Korean Town) are going to be fixed? Has there been any official statement about this?

 

Mount quest

When i drop perfume to collect hog it disappeared and no hog was collected. I have tried twice already, not gonna use another 20mil to try again.

 

• Quest: Torr's Horn

• NPC: Torr
  
• Details: After turning in the horn and completing the quest I got the 'quest arrived, double-click the icon' message but there was no bulb or new quest on Torr? I did receive the quest reward

 

You have never been supposed to drop the whole bottle of perfume (any real pig would die from that, a so would any healthy man). What you do, is just double-click it to puff out a small cloud of perfume, just enough for the Pig to be charmed and tamed.

• NPC: Pia
• Details: In the final stage of the quest, Pia let me to look for Rainbow-colored Snail Shell, and I get it from Mano, but the quest has an error.

• NPC: Chumji
  
• Details: Cant even begin the quest - when press to start the quest its says the quese ended due to uknown error

 

• Quest: The Secret of Ghostship
• Location: Boat Quay Town
• NPC: Ralph the wanderer
• Details: Unable to proceed to the next quest

 

I have completed this quest, but I believe it was in Old Source. Still, I believe it works in New Source too. Have you tried changing channels and/or re-logging?

 

• Quest: Life Alchemy, and the Missing Alchemist
  
• Location: Magatia
  
• NPC: Russellon
  
• Details: It told me to report it?

I completed the quest and then that message popped up.

 

what do you mean by old source and new sourse??

 

I'm sorry about this terminology. Veteran players will know but I mean, but to you and other new players, let me do a brief explanation:
You can think of the MapleRoyals history as divided in different "eras" (much like real world history). The "era" which the game is in now, is commonly known as the "New Source" (even though it's quite old by now)
The transition into this new source meant many major and minor changes to skills, quests and maps - changes to the game in general (relative to the previous era, now known as The Old Source)
Therefore, players might have experiences from the game which are no longer up-to-date (such as my experience with this quest)

sry I know, this quest is already listed, but I wanted to make sure, it is not forgotten, because it happened to me today:

• Quest: Opening Nolbu's Ground
  
• Location: Korean Folk Town
  
• NPC: Nolbu
  
• Details: After dropping the seed on top of Nolbu's house, it dissappears and nothing happens.

Can you maybe fix this one soon?

Hi there, there is another bug, which is not in the list:

• Quest: Joining Zenumist Society
  
• Location: Magatia
  
• NPC: Carson
  
• Details: Once you have to drop the liquid bottle at the magical placa right in front of Carson, it does not dissappear to return the tree branch as it is supposed to be.

 

Change channels until it works.

 

• Quest: Opening Nolbu's ground and Opening Hongbu's ground
  
• Location: Korean Folk town
  
• NPC: Hongbu and Nolbu
  
• Details: After accept the quest and drop the seed the seed will disappear but the gourd won't appear
