The unique make Paladin become also another unique class when Bossing, "unique" that you never see them in bossing party. You try mega LF>Bossing PT as Paladin, i dare to say that beside of your friends or u own hs mule, almost impossible people will take u in bossing squad. Buccaneer DPS was lower last time but at least he did contribute Speed Infusion to the team so people will still want them, but how about Paladin which couldnt contribute anything and unable provide a DPS to help the team as well? Not here to ask for downgrading other job but at least make Paladin more useful. At least people will still want them in bossing. The DPS Paladin dealing is way too far because of the single target and also unable to get the best advantage of SE.

However, this is my final respond because I feel like we just can't agree with each other and there is nothing wrong with that. _ First highlights, 2h Sword is the best damage choice for Hero and Paladin, digging on the forum, google for spreadsheet if you have doubt. Short answer, 2h Axes / Maces provide higher damage but "unstable" and therefore its not good for your DPS. _ This is really unclear, you suggested to changing Paladin in bossing situation yet proposed to increase their overall damage? This would affect every scenario not only bossing. I do understand that your suggestion is based on v86 of the game which made a fair point and I agreed to some extends, but you are also forgetting that in v86, Hero and other classes got changes in their play style as well, not only Paladin. Therefore, basing the foundation of these changes on v86 to affect only 1 class is not a legit argument. _ You're right about the Damage Cap although I doubt that the majority of Paladin players could even hit the damage cap with Blast in v83. The "Uniqueness" I've mentioned is more than just a Damage difference, it's a way you choose to play your class, we're clearly has distinct point of view on "Uniqueness" therefore I will not argue with this point and leaving the players and the GMs to considerate their view about this.
You don't expect for anything so you won't feel disappointing as well.. Just grind as Paladin, they wont understand our pain unless they know they been left out in every party from bossing
Exactly. Expect nothing and you won’t feel bad. At least no one is getting triggered by a Pally buff unlike when I mention a AM buff.

Matt mentioned in the shoutbox that he's at least considering some options for Paladin. Andreas has seen the thread as well, not sure how he feels about it though. Just gotta be patient in the meantime, we'll presumably hear some feedback soon-ish (especially since they just finished working on a large update.)

The balance comes from the characters or the maps. Unless we start getting maps and bosses with good drops that allow Paladin's to thrive in then we can only fix Paladin's. Hero's and Drk's do great damage with great range and hit multiple targets. You can either give Paladin's a different niche or make them identical to their brothers.
Just throwing out my opinion on general buffs to the paladin class that wouldn't threaten the balance of the warrior classes, since I know you hero's like to keep your podium DPS spot :^) - Increase charged blow attack range(distance), this would be incredibly helpful at zak arms. Paladins straight up suck at it zak arms. Since our main ability on zak arms is charged blow, making it easier to hit multiple arms would help us measure up to other warriors. - Speed up base speeds of both 1h and 2h BWs/Axe's, i.e make the average speed for them (4) and (5) respectively for 1h and 2h. Theres actually no need for the speed disparity. - Make ice/light/fire all the same %'age. since you dont exactly want to buff them, atleast make all the charges a 125% buff - (This one is just a greedy one) Make Castellan/Toad weak to fire. Nice to have options at late game bosses made solely for exp In the end I dont think a brute force %'age increase is the way to go with buffing paladins, but I do think they could use a little nudge in the right direction. Buffing threaten is NOT the answer to making paladins more desirable in a party. Why get a pally with threaten when you can just get any other class that can just nullify the effect of threaten with just pure dps.
What about changing HH so that it doesn't just put mobs to 1HP and OHKO's them like mage ultimates instead? If we can't dps/boss then can we at least be the mobbing class? Lmfao inb4 S> Leech 1-hit skele 50/90 lv. 154 paladin
As a pally main I vote in favor of the buff! Gets pretty lonely not having grinding partners despite being the best mobbing warrior and pretty frustrating finding a bossing party to accept us...considering how handicapped pallys are I don't see how buffing us should bother anyone else? With threaten being useless, we have less dps then drks and heros plus NO utility, and to be fair those who voted in favor of the buff won this poll by a landslide..practically nobody has a problem with the idea plus it makes the game more enjoyable for pallys "Less people quitting the server" sooo uhh GMs and Developers approximately how long before this buff becomes reality or is it most likely not going to happen
Hey, that's my birthday. Are you getting me anything? On topic. I would probably make a Paladin if they were buffed up a bit. Not because I don't like being challenged, but because it would make them more useful in group situations, which I just said in another thread is my favorite part of this game.
Seems like the server got more and more paladin player, truly hope there will be a buff on paladin and make a twist of life for paladin players

BTW not even useful even change to this, cause Paladin still able to boss, what we need might be slightly decrease cooldown of HH/increase % damage of skill/increase max cap(which benefit MM&Paladin)/Increase blast hit counts/increase the range of one-handed weapon so can hit more targets easily
would it be possible to have blast hitting 2-3 mobs like drk's crusher and hero's brandish? i think it's not very fair that it hits only 1 target no matter how strong or even if the boss has elemental weakness. overall damage is very much reduced at bosses if blast only hits on one enemy.
