Hello, I'd just like to inquire what information is collected from a machine that accesses the website, and game server. Please be specific, many different hardware devices have MAC addresses. Is this information shared with any parties, and who can access this information? Thank you for your cooperation. -Oldie
Browser history, DNS history, active sessions, processes running on the computer, your location, full hardware info, full OS specific info, your social network streams, camera footage if your device has one, sound from your mic to determine if you vote abuse or not, access to your email account, MAC info (iMAC, MS-MAC, Big Mac), IP-addresses and account info ocf, and so on. Edit: Forgot to add that it is all sold in bulk and/or separate to different 3rd-parties to support the services provided by the Staff and/or to pay off Matt's boat.
Not quite. From the website, we collect whatever information any other website collects. That includes: IP address, site referrer (what site did you come from), I can't think of what else off the top of my head. From memory what the server collects as of now, when you connect to the game: IP address and ALL MAC addresses associated with your computer.
Saki is, of couse, being facetious here =) This thread reminds me - I was going to write a privacy policy before I got bogged down in 3 weeks of being semi-functional due to a heatwave and no air-con.
