Xmas events ~

So...
My 2 cents here....

1. Snowman-Has got to be the worst event ever.
Why can't you have a timer for those who come to afk,so you can boot them out for
non movement? Or do what you did with the anniversary cake? It has already caused a lot of friction with the players who actually work at getting presents. Not fun at all. Most frustrating event.Attacking snowman while ppl sit in chairs and chat with each other, or just stand there,while others attack. Then they have the nerve to ask the % of the snowman, as they can't see the bar if they are not attacking.

2. The hannakah(sp) rewards are useless. *Waste of time this*.


3. The PQ. Really??? Lvl 66+ rewards are the most lame rewards ever.
Snowboards, skis, and other assorted garbage?
Really.
Hurts my intelligence.

Pig event is good tho.... the nose and attack pots are great. Aren't the attack pots even better than apples and you get 15 per trade in?

 

1. I know you are frustrated with with Snowman, but the problem is not AFKers. The issue is Staff did not incorporate a mandatory minimum participation in order to receive a present. Players can AFK throughout the whole time for Snowman until it is dead since there is no incentive to hit Snowman.

2. The Hanukkah Event is directly from the Event from GMS. Yes, the rewards from the quest line is not the greatest, but Staff included it which guarantees 2 Gelt Chocolates.

3. The PQ is more for Green mittens and the medal. You are not forced to participate in the PQ. I personally like the PQ cause at least it was implemented this year.

I know you are frustrated but to say it hurts your intelligence is a bit excessive don't you think. Complaining is not helpful next time I suggest you incorporate some feedback regardless if it is beneficial or not.

 

Yes. The shiny nose is awesome and it doesnt expire.
I stopped doing Torr's horn as those rewards are also useless and they expire too.

You can make an opinion but i am suggesting that you should include some suggestions in order to improve the event. Since Staff has heard a lot of complaints and very little suggestions for improvement. Playing God?

Well for one: I SUGGEST they kick out the people who are not attacking the snowman after 10 minutes.
And do not let them in any other map until the next 2 hours.


The pq and the Hannakuh events aren't rly important.As,yes you get the gelt for one.And the other is for the medal.

That is my opinion.

Your suggestion for kicking afk players during snowman would only go against your cause. What's there to prevent them to pay 100 more snow just to enter again? If your suggestion were to be implemented, sociology dictates that there would literally be less motivation for players in later channels attacking the first body. Why would anyone attack body 1 if he/she finds themselves alone there? Its like LPQ. Youre more likely to stay and find a party if you see a bunch of people there, afk or not, than if you saw no one but yourself there.

It might be fustrating but all I can say is join snowman before it explodes. Earlier channels will always have non afkers. In my opinion, if youre finding yourself attacking for more than 15 mins, the prizes are generally not even worth it and its best to just move on
