The EXP Cap is missing, it should be level up + reaching 99,98%. You can level more than that at the moment.

EDIT: Until level 18 you level up as much as the EXP you get. (10 to 18 with 50k exp reward), but after that the EXP stays and carries over, ie I had 75k/20k exp, killed 1 mob, leveled and ended up at 99,98%, rinse and repeat.

So you're saying it's only missing for levels below 18, correct? After that, it seems to be correct?

he saying that you can get multi levels from quests/ or high exp monsters

ETC. You are lvl 10 and you get 50.000 exp from quest, you will get 20 levels..

but he want if you get 50,000 exp on lvl 10 that you get lvl 11 + 99.98% and thats it..

what is in my opinion unfair..

should remain as it is now ..

What I'm saying is I levelled up from 10 to 18 in one go, something that is not supposed to be possible.

And from what I remember (ages since I leeched bosses in Maple, so I can't remember for sure), the EXP shouldn't carry over.

Example: Level 30 to 31 requires 95700 EXP, I imagine 31 to 31 requires 140k or something. If a level 30 character with 0% EXP gets 500k exp, it should only level from 30 to 31 with 99,98% - and that's it.

The situation now is that it would do just that - but keep the EXP - so you'd have like 500k/140k EXP, ie kill 1 mob and you level, reach 99,98% on level 32 immediately, kill another mob and reach level 33, etc, until all of that EXP has been used.

As far as I can remember this is not the way it worked in real MapleStory.

that was in normal maple, because you cant multi level in normal maple..

but here EXP rate is different and you can multi lvl...

    so no exp cap...

I agree, if you do a quest that nets you enough exp to multi level, by all means you deserve to multi level!

You did the entire quest and should receive the entire amount of exp

I've accidentally multi-levelled on 3 different characters now - one main-to-be, who I had to remake and two mules.

The problem with multi-levelling that I can see is if you're either a mage or you're adding a fair chunk of base int to help with hp washing. If you shoot up 8 levels in one go, then you're probably going to be missing out on the extra mp that could have been gained from the int you would have added had you levelled up one level at a time.

I think Tobi means that it's simply a nuisance to have to kill one monster before leveling up to the next. I've personally experienced this when doing the etc turn in quest at Orbis, also giving 50k exp. I personally don't think this is much of an issue to be looked at, at best it is a pain in the butt, I think there are much dire glitches in the game to be looked at than this.

No, what I mean is I think the maximal amount of EXP gained in one go should be "Level Up + reaching 99,98%" but if people don't want it then never mind.

Nope, don't want it. In that case you would have to postpone doing quests so you know you'll get all the EXP you're supposed to get from them. If you're worried about multi-leveling being a mage, thereby having less maximum MP than you can, then just postpone those quests until you know you won't multilevel.

You're playing a nostalgic server and you don't want it to be the way it used to be?

    I don't get it. ~f10
