At level 155 you will have about 4,500 HP. To survive all of the Horntail, we need 9k +.

Assuming you take just 9.5K HP, you will need to make 312 Wash.

Assuming you do just Wash Normal, not MP Wash, will have to make at least 3 Wash by level of 30-135. (105 * 3 = 315)

That would be 360 full INT, which is a lot. (240 Base + 100 Items)
And I see no scenario where you can go without HB Zakum at level 50.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Is there a trick on boss hunting? Sometimes I see like HH paradise where I find so many of them and sometimes I do not see a single trace of it on all maps and any channels.

I knew about HP washing too late(well if I did I still did not have the fund anyway lol and I will rather die than to play a bishop)

EDIT: btw is capt latanica worth killing? dude hits like a truck but doesnt seem too bad

Hi all,

Need help from some experienced bowmaster. Which skill do you add next after Sharp Eyes, Bow Expert and Hurricane is maxed? I'm guessing its between Phoenix or Concentrate.

 

As a bm who's only bossed and did literally nothing else, I only maxed the 3 you mentioned above and maple warrior. Haven't given any sp to any other skill, didn't even bother doing quests for phoenix and concentrate.

You could max out phoenix as well if you want. Concentrate, I don't see much use as it cancels other att pots and has a cooldown.

So max mw then phoenix? Then if you want concentrate .

That would be my recommendation

I was wondering how concentrate would be useful since i usually use stoppers/gizers during my boss run. Guess I'll max it last and go with Maple Warrior and Phoenix first.

Concentrate was useful in old source/early new source. You could combine it with 2-3 stoppers when it was on cd and it saved you money cause stopper was like 600k or more.
Now that people farmed voodoos so much you can easily get stoppers for like 250k-300k and there's no point to use concentrate anymore.
You should max mw if you can afford the book then phoenix. The rest of the skills are not that useful, Hamstring seems bugged now and can't work on bosses like bf or anego anymore and Dragon's breath is only useful for grinding in a flat map like ob4 or something.

 

EXPwise, are Himes better than Gobies? I wouldn't mind the potburn. Asking as a lv84 ranger.

 

I don't think it will be really effective at this lvl, they are lvl 100 and have a lot of hp. It will take you lots of hits to kill one and you wouldn't be able to party cause you can't leech exp.

 

Thx for the reply! Yeah, kinda figured it out... they have about 20% more Weapon DEF than Gobies, and even 10k hp more than gobies including the House. Seems like I'll be stuck at Gobies for some time then Or are there any other alternatives? Captains and Kru's are noticably slower than Gobies at this moment..

 

Once you max Hurricane, does it become your primary mobbing skill? Is endgame BM training Hurricane Spam? Arrow rain is such a beautiful mobbing skill and seems like it should be more effective than Hurricane!

 

Arrow rain is only stronger than hurricane when it hits 5 or more mobs. It still has some uses though cause it can hit at close range while hurricane can't
