It will, since crit damage is additive and not a multiplier. It will be 12k-39k instead of 8k-34k. Increasing the chance won't change the gap at all actually, it will make you hit crits more often but still do weak damage without crits.
Lol the original posters suggestions. Shadowers are OP? Brah, try and join a HT party with a shadower. They will just laugh at you. Upgrade sairs? They have the highest dps in the game... they might not shine at HT if you're not good at getting on and off your boat. But that's no reason for a buff. It doesn't matter how much you buff other classes. People want a team of NLs and a BM/MM for SE. That's it... most pro groups have their bishop bring their own SED mule, bloodwashed Bucc for SI. gg Unless you're running with friends, start working on a NL or a BM. End of conversation. Edit: also... Bucc are OP as well? Lmao They have the 2nd lowest damage after Pally.
Even if you're extremely good at getting on and off on the boat without ship taking a single hit at HT, the DPS is still subpar because of all the DPS time you're losing during the ship animation.
That's why MM are DPM and not DPS. Just because theres a lot of range between crits and non crits doesn't mean the class is "weak", even though theyre weaker than other classes.. a flat damage increase is a damage increase, there's more at work here than damage looking good.
Hi, I have joined a pt with Shadowers, and i said they OP not because of their damage, but their usefullness in a team, with smoke, you can down the tail with no knock-back, ... That's why i said they are OP Highest DPS doesn't mean highest output damage in realistic situation with that HT constanstly attack, ship break faster than what you think. Highest DPS depend on how long you stand on the ship You clearly have no idea about Corsair! A Bucc OP because of their usefullness and their unique skill set that they contribute for a bossing pt, not their damage. With Leap, you can have 2 time rest without being force to return back to town. And their i-frame is good too If we have a class balance, i think the concept NL + SE with end because NL + SE isn't the best after a balance classes. Also i don't really like NL much but can't deny that they are OP at HT If you play a NL, good for you because other classes are struggling doing HT. So at least please help other people, that's is what a community should be, not just NL + SE.
Sairs are the highest DPS. If a NL has SE, then they are the highest DPS, with SE and SI, sairs are about the same, maybe a bit more. The problem is, you can't buff a class just for one boss. Otherwise you will make every other situation unbalanced. Smokescreen is indeed useful, and with TL, you can do 2. Very good... when it works. Smokescreen only works for about half of the people on the server. I have no idea why. My smokescreen does not work at all on my shadower. For me, or for anyone else. My friends smokescreen works for everyone. Before the last update, mine worked, and his didn't. I'm guessing it's a client side bug. But it doesn't really matter anyway. No one is going to take a shadower to HT just for smokerscreen, our damage sucks compared to other classes. We only really shine with Meso explosion, and you can't bomb most of HT. Also, Meso explosion is bugged, and you run the risk of being banned just for using it. That's why I quit my shadower. Basically, ME never blows up the mesos, but still deals the damage. I took a GM into krex to show them. I can solo krex in 5-8 mins... But again, you'll get banned lol. And probably anyone else in your party as well.
If there were more people who cared less about min/maxing XP/Meso at Horntail, there would be less need to "balance" classes. As there would be a healthy amount of fun HT groups to bring along the weaker classes. I believe Garbbagio HT runs are aimed at bringing whoever to run as long as you got the minimum HP. There should be more groups like this willing to just go for the sake of having fun over min maxing their EXP gain. Theres nothing wrong with worrying about EXP, but there needs to be a healthy amount of both types of HT groups. Both EXP focused groups and Fun focused groups. Sadly theres a significantly smaller amount of fun focused groups here. This is a server where we're all here to have fun, and more people should be willing to bring along others to enjoy the same content as them. Again, call me naive, but someday when I have the funds, and maybe the friends to organize a HT run myself id run it like Garbbagio does.
I agree with you about the SE SI stuff, but buff to a class, admins GMs have to calculate, measure, do stuff to make everything balance in every situation, that's why we discuss the solution in buffing a class.
I agree with you, but I disagree with a minor point in your message. I don't believe EXP is the main focus on majority of the HT groups. A lot of the HT groups are focusing on maximizing the book split (less people in the party, and all party members with godly equipment), and shorten the run time by doing "dank" damage to increase the chance of finishing HT and squeeze in more run per day.
Hello. I would like to give my opinion here on some classes that I have familiarity with or that some friends like to play and talk about. Classes that should not be tampered with: NLs, BM / MM, Wizards, DrK, Corsair. Why should not corsair be stirred? For if it makes them easier to play, it will make it a common class like NL and will take the class grace. He loses a lot of DPS by disassembling and assembling the ship, but even with that, it is comparable to NL damage. The only bad thing about it is that it takes ALL damage, as well as BM and MM, different from the NL that receives a lot of miss and continues to attack. If there is a change in this class, it should be minimal, as already mentioned here: Increase the HP of the boat or put a fixed damage received on the boat. Paladin: Skill to remove Cancel Physical and Magical Attack would already be a great point for this class as it is one of the main problems today in HT. Shadower: I have a friend who is a shadower fan and according to him, removing the Boomerang Step CD would be a great leap for this class to be accepted in races like HT. Hero: It's a great class and very valued. I got to play with him and the only thing that bothered me was the duration of Power Shield and ACA. Warriors: Increase the Power Stance rate. 90% do not appear to be true. They live falling from the platforms in the HT. I may have talked bullshit here, but those are just my views. Obs: I think DrK is one of the best game classes in both DPS and Utilities (HB). What makes the class a little excluded is the HP wash, where many get 15k, 20k, 30k from HP.

All comments about class balance are welcome, not bullshit Corsair has never been an easy class to play, even from the road to get to 120 is the hardest one with corsair (I don't talk about those who rich and can pay hundred mesos to leech their Sair to 120) Corsair at HT can't event compare to NL in term of damage, becaue they lose ship very fast. Increase HP?? I think HP is enough for the ship, put a fixed damage receive on the boat??, as long as that fixed damage is small enough, corsair won't need to dismount in zakum => This is a bad idea, this destroyed the unique of Corsair So that i suggest -> Give stance to the boat, have % to it, Corsair still have to mount/dismount the ship to keep the HP of ship, but still can have a small time, not to move to the position to shoot. moving speed of sair is alway a bad thing, so that give stance to the ship is a good idea, imo.
Have you played a corsair at HT? I've seen sairs white NLs inside body and if you're any good at maintaining boat it shouldn't break more than a few times after legs
But if you still have to mount/dismount wouldn't you just get hit while you're dismounted and get knocked back?
I'm a 174 Sair and I have done several HT runs already I mean, when Sair do the leg, tail, you cannot dismount exactly in time, your ship still get hit because HT attack constantly. That's why Sair lose their ship in 30 sec at the beginning of body.
Sairs need way less funding to do more damage than a NL. Making them easier to play would be OP. They may not be as good at HT but they shine at nearly every other boss. If you buff them for HT, they would be even better at other bosses. Sairs would just become the new NLs. Then NLs would be on here asking for a buff to their class. The only classes that really need a buff are pallys and Shadowers, perhaps a slight boost on damage for Bucc. I haven't played MM enough to comment on them. But their range seems to have their damage all over the place. Basically have to pray to RNG jesus.
Hi there, i have talked enough about how Sair should get a buff in my previous posts so won't say anything more about Sair I do agree with you about buffing Paladin, I think Shadower's issue is their buggy skill set, just let the dev fix it and we'll see how much to buff a Shadower. Personally I really want to join a HT run with shadower. I think their skill set to distribute to the pt is really OP and unique. We have talked enough about class buff, let the admin like Tim, Karven, ... decide what to buff, what not. I'm still happy with that. All we can do is to wait for the next patch update.
Got a few more ideas for hero. Make enrage stackable with attack potion for shorter duration, or get rid of the CD as a better replacement to rage similar to Drk's hex of beholder. Other wise this skill is pretty much useless.
How much does rage give on this server? I know on EMS it was changed to 20 attack. Which made it a bit better. Enrage should stack, otherwise it is indeed useless. But it seems nothing stacks on maple XD
Rage should be stackable with potions and other skills. It's the only skill for groups the Hero has, and it's useless.
If people want Enrage and Rage to stack with each other, then Dragon's Blood and Hex should stack too. I don't think it really matters since someone would be using stoppers or apples/gelts at horntail anyway, but it never quite made sense to me that they don't for Dark Knights.
