Adding onto your statement, on GMS, we never ran more than once every few days. The fact some people are able to run anywheres from 2 to a dozen times a day if they wish isnt how Horntail itself and the items required to entered were ever intended to be used. Horntail and the economy from it were only expected to be obtaind and to be run at a maximum of 2-3 times by different groups of people a day and it was only doable on one channel.
I agree with you guys about the daily thing, but, the quest should give more Elixir to those who doesn't have enough time for grinding to get them. I'd like to be able to get at least 4 elixir, so I could HT at the weekend (2-3 days). (I'm not a HT fighter yet but soon) I don't have the free time to grind for hours to get lots of ores, and search for Manon two-three times to get the elixir.
Why does everything have to be obtained from popular leeching/leveling spots? Going to somewhere else for once won't kill you. Keep it as it is.
Because killing HT isn't tied to job advancement, or unlocking skills. Doing so doesn't make getting to 200 possible (or rather, not HT'ing doesn't prevent you from getting to 200.)
Well there's been a couple times where we get mass seduced by arms or we've run into the situation where people slowly started dying after the BS and my hero's will has come in handy even though I'm a Bowmaster. Not required but definitely a good thing to have as a backup imo.
I asked @Nessi if I should get Hero's Will, and he said 100% NO right now, in 100 runs, it's saved him maybe twice he said, and with the price of the ores right now, it is not worth it. Anyway, back on topic - afk farming provides ample amounts of mithril ore, so I don't see why anything must change. It's a nice alternative to farming stoppers, and you get some potentially really nice drops there too.
But for some people who doesn't have time to farm, they buy at market. The price is kinda high if we not make any change!
If the price is "high", nobody will buy. So, what is your point here? And if "some people" doesn't have time to farm, whose fault is it?
Prices reflect supply and demand, and if you don't want to be part of the demand, then become part of the supply. If you don't want to dedicate time to farming, you can't expect prices to just go down because then you're basically saying "fuck you" to the people who put in the time and energy to farm the things you so desperately want but at the same time you don't want to pay them for their time (which reflects the price of the item). I used to see this arguement all the time in other games (Anyone used to raid WoW)? LFR (looking for raid) was implemented because people didn't want to dedicate time to a guild/raiding, and therefore blizzard said "sure, but you won't get nearly as good of the gear". Casuals (essentially) flipped shit. If you want lower prices for these ores, it should require more of them, or less transformation potions at turn in. It should in no way, just make everything easier if the drop rate is increased because of what these ores are used for.
