Is there a way to make the game fullscreen windowed? Windowed mode is way too small and I've crashed a couple times in fullscreen mode. Also it’s inconvenient for alt-tabbing purposes. Thanks.
Try playing around with your screen resolution. There should be a setting where your window mode will almost look full screen, but everything else will look huge.
That’ll just be more of an incovenience would it not? If you alt tab everything else is huge as well and out of place. :’(
Indeed. It would only be useful to make MapleRoyals's window bigger but everything else will look off. :/
There is a setting to makes Maple window stretch sideways. This will fill the screen but also make your character look fat of course. I might update you on exactly how to do this, later. (It's a setting in Windows 10, and probably all other OSs as well) Is this what you're looking for?
Yea it would be counterproductive. I would be better o I'm looking regular looking fullscreen mode but windowed. ^.^ I don't wish to look fat
Oh... I didn't understand your question at first, my bad. Now I think I know what you're looking for though. Hmm.... I'm not sure how to do it other than run 800x600 res.
My bad should have clarified what I was looking for. I'm not looking to change my res though. That is even more inconvenient than regular fullscreen. Although I'm always crashing when I'm doing fullscreen. -.-
I came across this, try it? https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how...ode-to-a-larger-resolution.51318/#post-275984
Download link is dead, joerg rosenthal's website returns 404 error. According to other threads posted about it, the file doesn't require installation and I found other links googling that give you an installer -- I wouldn't trust those. Until you find a trustworthy link to the program file I doubt anyone can test it.
IMPORTANT EDIT: I found one software that actually works for resizing MapleRoyals. It's called Sizer 4.0 and is found here: http://www.brianapps.net/sizer4/ Please not that it has to be 4.0, earlier versions won't work (I tried an older version by mistake first) A lot of software seem to merely remove the disabled resizing that many programs has set, but fail to surpass a program's set max width/height. Sizer 4.0 however, does the job.
The program above did not work. but this did: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/11799/turn-non-resizeable-windows-into-rezieable-windows/
That's odd. I tried that "dirty system hack" (according to creator) but it didn't resize MapleRoyals for me. Well maybe it depends on the user's computer? I don't even know if OP is interested in this any longer.
Maybe he's not interested anymore but I had to find a way to do it lol. I found something interesting. I could not see the resize icon when hovering over the corners of the screen but I could resize only from the top, top corners.
We use to use a program on EMS so we could actually drag and drop the corner of the window to resize to any resolution. I can not for the life of me remember the name of the program.
The link you quoted worked for me. The only thing is that you don't see a re-size icon when hovering over the corners or edges you just kind of have to find the sweet spot and drag. I've been able to resize my screen by dragging the top left corner. but it works!!! I have Windows 10.
