    Previously old source Amoria PQ was able to be done an infinite amount of times, sure it had some problems most importantly trio pq's where people were able to play with mules to gain an advantage over others which I agree should have been fixed and is not described in the patch notes as being fixed possibly because of the limit, but the easier way would have been to just make it so that everyone would have to hit the gate in order to advance to the next stage. Despite this apple prices were at a fair price where even the poorest of players were able to afford a couple for a zak run or a krex run, not only that but it was one of the best ways for attackers to make a decent amount of money.

    Why put a limit on the pq and also Nerf heart-stopper drop rate simultaneously making the economy worse than it already is? You say you want more meso sinks in the game yet you want to further reduce the amount of mesos people are going to spend on attack pots because there will be a limited supply in the economy due to the limit, while also increasing prices of stoppers...

    You are taking away a primary source of many peoples income with a PQ limit. Not only have people who earn mesos from this pq have had to suffer for over a damn YEAR you also go and put a limit on how many they can do. Apq is literally one of the few party quests higher level players can do and I even enjoy doing it. Not only that but you have to have a Bride And a Groom in order to actually complete the first stage furthering the frustrations of actually completing it. Not that many people actually did APQ in the first place finding a Female wasn't too bad some days, but you are basically supporting using mules to actually do the pq something that should have not been possible as I stated above. I also have to spend nx to get married which I already paid for previously and spent time doing the quest? Now I have to waste my votes on something I already had? Instead of using meso for it? Was that not a meso sink? Why not make marriage cost mesos? why not make divorce cost mesos?

    An increase in drop-rate for one month is not a good compensation for the limit you decided to put on it after an entire year of not having the pq. Having cheaper apples was a great way of spreading wealth among the player base. Mages aren't limited in a day to how much they are able to leech why are attackers limited to what they can do daily? We can only boss twice per day for each boss, and now we can only Apq 4 times per day. Having a good amount of attack pots in supply was easy for not only attackers who did not want to participate in the Pq but also for mages who would spread their earnings early on to be able to 1 hit certain mobs they were unable to at their level. This is not nostalgia, Party quests should not have a limit although most do already with level limits and it just makes the game not fun. Hopefully you will consider reverting apq to what it was previously with a fix for trio.

    You can take back your 50% increased drop rate, I would prefer to do a pq more than 4 times a day.

    Putting 4 daily limit is just making people making more mules to APQ. Please consider increasing it to at least 10, if not unlimited.

    Nerfing stoppers and apples is just going to give people more incentive to sell leech instead of bossing, creating more mesos out of npcing. At current apple prices of 37m each, the average attacker use two apples per HT, with stoppers and potions adding up to ~90m fixed cost per run. Most HT runs do not net any profit as HT tend to drop nothing/worthless books such as HH, smokescreen, concentrate half the time. Apple prices are already high enough, and its price is not reflected on any where near from a 1 year lack of supply as there is no demand until HT- which was only recently released. The 37m price can be mostly attributed to two months worth of HT, with gelt substitute slowing the price growth since it was available during Christmas event. The thing is, not everyone farms APQ. Sure, we will see an increase of APQ farming during the valentines event but that is only due to the bandwagon effect. After the hype dies down and "normal" players lose interest, the 4 pq limit will not be able to sustain the economy. If the 4 pq limit holds along with the stopper drop rate nerf, we'll be seeing 50m apples in the future.

    The 50% increased rate is during the event only.

    Eh? In GMS/EMS Amos only exchanged keys once a day.
    Being able to do APQ maximum twice a day made it rather special. So 4x is already nice?
    But that's probably seen though 'fun'-glasses instead of 'meso'-glasses. ^_^'

    As much as I understand the frustration of APQ taking so long to be released and the change to a limited number of runs, we've yet to even experience how this will actually affect the economy/game. Hell, the server isn't even up yet. If anything's gonna be considered for change, it'll happen in time like everything else that happens here.

    I know it sucks (I'm also sick of paying for 40m apples) but we're acting as if we know exactly what the economy/game will be like because of this change. If the economy is drastically affected within at least a couple of months' time then by all means they should do something about it, but for now let's just be glad they finally re-released APQ and see how it goes from there.

    Well considering the average age of the GMS/EMS population back then, I doubt there are that many people who made it to the endgame and would actually have a constant demand for apples, as well as NX costing real money, further creating an entry barrier.

    Because we don't already know how it will effect the game/economy because we never used to have inifinite APQ's Right?

    Royals has always been fluctuating with its economy because it's ever-changing. The fact that we had infinite APQ in late 2016 doesn't mean we know how it affects Royals in its current state. I'm not arguing against your concerns in the slightest. I'm arguing that it's still too early to make judgement calls before we know exactly how this change affects the server.

    GMS you could only trade in one key a day...
    People complaining about being able to do 4 PQs a day?
    Also I believe 90% of the marriages are with mules, that makes you able to do 8 PQs a day for each marriage.
    Do you really play 24 hours a day to have enough time to do 8 PQs + 2 HTs + 2 Zak + 2 Krex runs?

    Let it be for a while, in case after a month or something, they find out that it needs a buff, they could.
    You didn't even wait for a day to end to start complaining.

    Clearing up a misconception that was stated twice already in this thread, I was without a doubt able to exchange keys for an entrance ticket once per 6 hours back in GMS.

    Personally I would like APQ to be unlimited times, basically I love how things were like in old source (don't we all).

    I support unlimited APQ because I believe that it was healthy for the community as a whole. Not only did it create a whole community of players that thrived around it, but it also paved a way for new players to make money early on that allowed them to grind out for as long as they wanted without feeling the need to create a mage. Anything reasonable that takes some pressure off of Royals being magestory is a +1 in my book.

    I don't think anyone has brought this up, but there's also a huge problem with dcing in apq. In old source, people would dc all the time in apq, and that hasn't changed. Some players don't have stable internet, and will ultimately be screwed by the 4 pq limit. Since the pq requires 6 people to reach the bonus stage, a single dc means that 6 players lose 1 of their 4 runs per day. A single person can ruin a run for 5 others, which only decreases the amount of apqs we can do per day.

    The changes I hope are made in the future, atleast at some point:
    • Remove the pq limit. The number of players on Royals pales in comparison to GMS, so it won't do well for the economy if attackers don't have a stable, affordable source of attack potions.
    • Change the Stage 1 requirement to Female and Male instead of Bride and Groom. It makes it annoying if you have 5 grooms in the party, even though 2 of them are Female. Unless that single person is a mage, the pq takes longer than it should. Because of the limit, people are marrying their mules, so it's less likely you'll have both. I understand this would be hard to change, because females can currently be the Groom due to the changes.
    • Increase the range you can see dots on the mini-map. Stage 2 is a hassle because the party leader can't see if the members are on the correct ropes. I understand this creates more opportunity for communication, but most people are just confused. This may get better over time as new apq'ers learn how to do the pq.
    • Increase the timer for the bonus stage back to 2 minutes, or at least to 1 minute 30 seconds. Even with 6 people, there isn't enough time to grab every single box. Apples should be a rarity, but they were rare enough in old source. Apple prices have increased over 20m from what they were before. Let people get every box. This isn't a mostly-garbage bonus stage like Gpq. Apples are a necessity to boss in a reasonable amount of time
    A lot of minor changes that I could recommend for apq are subject to change as people adjust to the new pq. Personally, it'll just take some getting used to. Especially the 5th stage. The 5th stage is annoying.

    I rarely post on the forums, but this is probably the only issue I care to see changed. I know you guys are trying your best, but don't disappoint your dedicated players. People have waited over a year for this, don't ruin what should be a fun addition to the game.

    TL; DR: Revert most of the changes you've made to Apq (PQ limit, bonus time limit) and you'll make players happy. Basically, what everyone else is saying and then some.

    As APQ is one of the most favorite things ever to do on Royals. The excitement of trying to get more and more Onyx Apples. Enjoying the time with your friends who do the PQ with you. Seeing just how many Apples you could get in a single day. I love this PQ. The thing that I loved most about it, was that you could do it an unlimited amount of times. It was the attackers money making dream. The stronger the attackers were, the faster the geist died, and the faster you could move into the bonus stage. My APQ team was able to finish the PQ in 9:40 start to exit. I wanted to get that number even lower. But New Source hit and APQ wasn't implemented anymore.

    With the re-release of marriage and APQ in the new source. I don't even care to APQ anymore. I don't WANT to APQ anymore. 4 times a day. 1 minute bonus. Sure this server is GMS LIKE, but this isn't GMS. The changes that were there in the old source, even if they were what you considered as "bugs" , made the game so much more enjoyable. The economy was thriving in old source with unlimited APQ. 4 APQs a day after a year of no APQ. Stoppers drop rate nerfed. Its like you're trying to increase the price of everything or make people quit.

    These are what I can suggest to nerf APQ instead of making it IRRELEVANT:

    Increase the bonus time from 60 seconds to 90seconds. I understand the time reduction since NLs are pretty much OP during the bonus stage. With 60 seconds, a party of 6NLs cannot even take out ALL of the boxes.
    OR
    Make APQ unlimited. Whats the point of restricting it and making us all not being able to break all the boxes??

    Another small tweak to APQ: stage 1 should still follow Female and Male portals since after a while I guarantee you, players who do same gender marriage will not know that they are BRIDE or GROOM. Female can also propose to Male so, I still see potential hiccups during APQ there. I can't imagine when people smega "R>1 groom for APQ".

    Other ideas for an apq nerf if you find it to be such a problem. As I stated do not allow multiclienting like what you did for snowman, buff Geist Balrog hp, slightly decrease apple drop rate(which seems has already been done). There are other ways of doing slight nerfs than just limiting things.

    Same i miss the old days where we can do unlimited apqs everyday. Even now i feel it's not worth traveling all the way only to do apq 4 times. I can't imagine what it will be when the valentine event is over and when u can only enter amoria from henesys.

    OMG this. Thomas should stay at FM forever and ever. In fact, move it from Henesys to FM, or at least make it available in every single major town.
