I know how it works and I know you have to fight it and not afk. It was fine yesterday. Today it just sucks. F/P: ROXXY if you want to check her logs. FULL HP and 80% HP and STILL no present. 5 times. 5 different maps. I don't know if it is due to lag, too many people, or what. It is bad enough we cannot even SEE the slime with all the people. But to stand there and hit on it and not be rewarded.... That wasted my time. This is supposed to be fun event. This is NOT fun. The BMs and NLs can hit from afar. Us mages have to hit up close. I get it. But why was yesterday fine and today something changed? Seems like it is getting worse. Also, why are people using ultis's in the Slime maps? I didn't think it was possible but a bish brought in his balumut and a BM brought in his eagle. What exactly is going on here?
I have escalated the issue up to Kevin for investigation. Although it's weird as I received my present correctly for the past two days.
I did all day the day before Kai. Today it just keeps saying I didn't fight enough 5 times when I know I fought at full HP and 80% HP. 2 other people are claiming the same thing in game.
I get the same problem with my hero sometimes because of the amount of people on te map I lag hard and can’t see/hit shit. What I’m doing now and maybe this works for you is, I pick a random far channel like 12 and start hitting my self alone on the map and when I’m confident enough I got mapowner and hit for 5 min I Smega and the map gets full in no time. I keep using mapowner to keep track of me hitting the slime so maybe this trick can work out wonders for you too Edit: another tip for mages is to use a ski or like a mop
As i remember from anniversary events, you could spawn bahamut\pheonix before you enter the event map so its just stays with you til its disappears. (i never tried it though)
At first I thought that was what it was. But then I saw the eagle get refreshed over and over on the BM. Once it ran out it respawned.
My guess is that you were always in a populated channel like CH1~3? With so many people you can barely see if you are hitting the target (especially since you are mage and you need to whack the slime with slow speed wand) and slime's HP goes down REALLY QUICKLY if the channel is full/ nearly full. You might not had an opportunity to land 150hits. Get a fruit knife from Lith harbor weapon shop and use that to stab the slime next time, it'll be done much faster. The difference between yesterday today or between days could be due to more people realizing the requirement of 150 hits and getting serious with the whacking that kills slime faster and also more people may be participating in the event.
