Monsters around Maple World had been unusually active in recent days! On Friday, March 2, 2018, the monsters are planning a havoc party on Maple World, and they are coming in their battle ships. Royallers, we need your help to protect the Maple World from the attacks of the monsters! Event Detail This event will be held in-game on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 15:00 servertime at Channel 8. The map will be announced when the monsters are spawned. Make your way there as soon as possible. Participants are strongly advised to form parties to help one another out. Warning: This event is not for the faint-hearted! Repeat, not for the faint-hearted! Participants are advised to bring some Safety Charm along! Newbies, stay clear of the channel and map which the event is held in. Event Rules & Regulation Players may choose to use any character for this event. Since this is a summoning event, there will be no rewards other than EXP gained from killing the monsters. Players who violate the Terms & Conditions will be dealt with accordingly. The GM’s decision will be final and binding. Good luck defending the Maple World from the monsters attack!
Unfortunately I can't do weekends as I may have last minute plans. But if this goes well, I promise the next one will be held on a weekend.

Just EXP or will some mobs drop there said items? aka nx, equips, scrolls, mesos, etc.(Except HT/Zakum)
Just EXP. The mobs won't be dropping any items. The purpose of this event in particular isn't about the drops. In fact, all summoning events that I have came across in official servers, or even other private servers do not have drops in the event (other than those nonsensical servers, of course).
Can it be held in multiple channels in a special event map and put a # of players limit on each channel? I can see massive lagging and dcing with hundreds of players in the same map and lots of mages casting ultimates.
Unfortunately I can't control the number of players in the map. I highly doubt mages will be casting ultimates for this event. What players can do is to set the lowest quality setting to reduce the chance of lagging. Also, the map that I've chosen is reasonably big, so players won't be clumped up in one area. If you've participated in the recent player-hosted 5000 bags spawning event, this event would be more gentle on your client since there won't be thousand of mobs floating around, spamming effects, etc.
I've another map in mind that's not frequently visited by many. Henesys is too lamemoo... and... channel's fixed!
Hm......maybe, can be considered! And who says I'm only doing one round? If you guys are fast, maybe more monsters will be furious and more will come!
Yes, whatever mob I summoned will deal you almost the same damage as in official server. I won't/can't modify them to hit you even higher. And yes, newbies are advised to stay out! I mean, they can never survive a summoning event...
