[retired] New New Community Blacklist

DISCLAIMER: A couple of people have privately brought up their opinion that Sat's half-assed apology should not allow him to be removed from the blacklist, and someone even mentioned that if anything, it should further solidify his place on the blacklist. I just want to clarify that I shouldn't be the final decision maker when it comes to who gets placed on the blacklist, and in this specific situation I was just trying to mediate the drama. As such, considering that this is a community blacklist after all, I want to encourage you guys to voice your opinions and speak up as much as possible. I am not the owner/manager of this blacklist, I just maintain what people have to say. This is for any current unresolved issues as well as any future issues that will inevitably arise.

As much as I love to bitch about the pages of bullshit that all-too-often come up in this thread, I genuinely appreciate how dedicated (some of) you guys are to maintaining the integrity of this community. And thanks for all the opportunity to capitalize on aforementioned pages of bullshit and farm some dank forum likes! Keep up the good work, ya?

I believe slander should have an even bigger punishment than a community blacklist. Potentially ruining someone's reputation with lies is just horrible. The fact that he doesn't seem to acknowledge his mistake doesn't make it any better.

I agree that he should be blacklisted, and I believe that ruining someone's reputation with lies (especially when he accused him with a bannable offense) should also be bannable.

This is what truly disgusts me. Some of my friends from my home country do not speak English, and they have encountered difficulties playing this game. I do my best to help them.

Even if you don't want to help them, at least don't try to exploit that disadvantage. Shame on you.

I second this. Add him back to the blacklist.

And this guy is a Tactician in Guardians as well. I wonder whether or not the leadership of Guardians will condone this kind of behavior. Up to now I have not seen an official statement about this incident from Guardians.

Edit: in light of the following response, I want to clarify that I am not assuming Guardians will condone behavior. I simply want to throw out this question. In my opinion, such an incident should be noticed by the guild and deserves a formal response.

He should be banned I think, according to this rule:

1. Objectionable Behavior (Harassment) - The act of engaging in any sort of rude, harassing, vulgar, obscene, hateful, threatening or abusive discourse with another player, or alternatively in a setting in which unintended audiences may be present such as all publically transmitted chat or serverwide messages. This includes persistent badgering, flaming, mass defamation or disruption of another player. Punishment: First offense - 3 day ban, Second offense, 7 day ban, Third offense - Permanent ban.

 

This is not the place to discuss this. If the effected party decides to report him he has all the right to do so by using the proper channel

 

Please do not assume that Guardians would condone this as FOR SURE our leader, Ario would not be pleased. Ario makes all the last decisions and he is currently on vacation (not lying). Don't make the assumption that Guardians are so low in taste.

 

Serious question here (not that I’m the type to ask this...)
Say my friend @FarmerStory gets blacklisted (which he should be),
can he be erased from the blacklist once he has proven to the community that he is reformed and is ready to become an outstanding citizen of this loving place?
I’m too lazy to find post(s) regarding what I am asking and I don’t see it on the original post.

 

No where do I see any "assumptions" being made about the guild. He was simply just questioning as to an official response from them since we have yet to hear anything regarding this issue. Thank you for letting everyone know that discussions within the guild are still on-going and of the guild leader's vacation; at least we can be assured that he will be held accountable for his actions.

 

I apologize to @PhotonSphere for being too aggressive there LOL. It's just that I've had a lot of people assume on previous posts that I was condoning Sat's behavior just cause they saw that I was in the same guild as him. I get offended when people just target Guardians based on the action of one person alone but PhotonSphere brings up a good point about what Guardians should do in this matter.

Separate thing aside, I really appreciate that this community stands up for what it believes for. I think that is integral for a healthy community. I've seen other servers that just had trolls beat down on normal players without any other players who cared enough to give their own input (I was so disgusted by ElliniaMS's community at times). This is a pretty honorable community.

He’ll be back soon enough. I usually don’t judge guilds based on one person, but I am disgusted he is the guild leader of Sinners.

Since @Ario is on vacation and I am the stand-in Commander, I have removed @Sat as a board member of Guardians as a temporary action until Ario is back. Hope this addresses the issue of the blacklist.

 

I got spot stolen by Kazupi. I was aware she took other people's spot and reported in page 21, but she's not in community blacklist yet, hopefully this should be enough.
