Hi I did not find another topic about this, so .. I would like to know how many attacks a Sky Ski has to have to be worth using I currently use a Faltizan 132 ATT / 15 STR If anyone can help, thank you.
back then in global maplestory I remember old Drks saying that 1 attack speed equals more or less 10-15 weapon atatck in terms of DPS (depends on your total str and total attack) unless... you cap dmg, then the skis are much better in every scenario for you to match that faltizan you must buy some 120 attack skis more or less.. and to upgrade you need much better ones obviusly... I'm not 100% sure if this applies too in V.83 but just to be safe, wait for more replies... If they ever update the server to add pink bean, timeless will be the only true endgame option tho, because I don't think is that easy to cap on a Drk
I assume that what you mean with being "worth using" is really having more DPS on bosses? If you are looking to 1-hit mobs easier, then of course you'd need a 132+ ATT Sky Ski It is correct that your total attack matters. The total STR matters too, but not as much. Let's for simplicity say that you are getting a Sky Ski with 15 STR, equal to your Faltizan. Assuming you have NO OTHER weapon attack gear besides the weapon itself, a 124 ATT Sky Ski would be needed to outdamage the Faltizan in terms of DPS. Adding attack gloves, shoes, cape and potions to this, the required attack of the Sky Ski will decrease. These calculations were made with attack speeds 5 (990ms) and 4 (930ms). Using SI, it will be slightly different. I simply did 132/990 = x/930 where x is the attack of the Sky Ski. Using SI: 132/870 = x/810 -> x = 122,9
What is your conclusion? It can be nice to hear for other players who might have had the same question
My conclusion is: ADD THEM TIMELESS AND REVERSE GEAR Just imagine that clean 129 attack, 10 str, 5 dex, lvl 5 Timeless Alchupiz... I know it will be almost impossible to get it perfect, but one man can dream
