I've gotten my genesis today and tried telecasting. Did so many attempts with different timings even pushing the buttons at random for a while but I have seen 0 telecasts?! Even out of all those attempts I should've gotten 1 by luck, no? My connection is quite stable and close to the server is this something that is easier with some more connection lag?
It's a client-side technique, which means server lag should not have any impact on telecasting. You might want to try to put both Genesis and Teleport as close as together like C + V or something else. You've to push them both almost at the same time, but make sure that Genesis is pressed first and this should be done in like less than 0.5 second.
This is a very good beginner guide from PurePoison himself, try it out and see if it works for you. I personally have mine on X tele and C genesis, but it works differently from person to person. Just find the right tempo after finding the perfect key combination and you're gonna be good.
I've managed to do it once, holy shit the timing is so tight. now my mind can be at peace that I just suck and it's not a mechanical issue
I use L-ALT for tele and "W" for meteor. I can do it with nearly 100% success rate. All my skill are based around WASD, I play too many first person shooters lol. Interestingly enough, I can not telecast with my expensive gaming keyboard, mechanical. But with this cheap 5$ dell keyboard, it works perfectly.
this is what I was also thinking about on a mechanical keyboard the accentuation of the key lies somewhere in the middle of the push and not at the bottom so it becomes hard to line up if you have keys that bottom out quite deep if that makes sense

It's the same thing as doing jump-shot with a bowman, you have to click teleport and gene at the same time. I put gen on A and teleport on left ctrl and it's pretty easy to do.

Yea, as I said, cheap 5$ keyboard works like a charm. Mechanical keyboard is really bad for it. Out of dozens of tries, close to 10 mins, I could only do it 2-3 times with my mechanical keyboard. With the cheap one, don't even have to try.
Honestly, my teleport is on C and my main attack (whatever ultimate your class uses) is on Z. I put my middle finger on Z and my pointer on C and legit just push down at the same time. Since my pointer is more slanted than my middle, when I press them both at the same time the tele is hit first right before the ultimate. Idk how to explain it, easiest way for me was just to press the 2 buttons literally at the same time LMAO
For my personally experience i set my teleport at C and my genesis on S. FOR ME its more easy to deal telecasting since the frames for both keys its like 0.30. If you use it on ctrl + X key there's a way to get 1 frame and getting failed.
I put my teleport on V and gen/blizz/meteor on spacebar. I can telecast 90% but it's not as consistent as some people above.
what i like to do is hold both arrow keys at the same time (Left and Right) + press gene and Tele at the same time and keep your finger the direction you want to go and let go of the other arrow when you're casting gene it helps when you're still
I start by immediately pressing the direction I want to go. Once I see my character moving, I click both Blizz and TP at the EXACT same time (S and F respectively). After the ult goes off, let go of the TP key, and then press it again intermittently until the end of your Ulti cast. The direction key is held down the entire time. Change direction when appropriate obviously.
Get a mechanical keyboard. The idea is you have to cast teleport about 5 milliseconds before ultimate. I cant telecast for shit on a cheap ass $10 HP basic keyboard but on my ibm model m or modern gaming cherry mx keyboard, i telecast with 90+% success.
