Solved [Solution Given] MapleRoyals stopped working when loading map(s)

    Heyo,

    Often when I go through a portal, my game gets stuck on the black screen and stops working.
    This happens when I'm longer than 90 seconds in a certain map and then go through a portal. (Yes, I timed it lol)

    MapleRoyals.exe properties:
    Compability: Windows 98/ME
    [ ] 256 colors
    [ ] Resolution 640x480
    [X] Disable visual styles
    [X] Disable desktop composition
    [X] Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

    Your compatibility mode is causing this error, you shouldn't use windows98/ME. Try using Windows 7.

    That seems to have fixed it! Tyvm

    I somehow couldn't change the compatibility mode.
    For anyone else having the same problem: If you can't change the compatibility mode, you should rename "MapleRoyals.exe" to something else like "MapleRoyals1.exe".
