If you think she provoked you beforehand, just make a report and get her banned too. But her wrongdoings (if there is any) doesn't make your actions right.

It's a bummer if you haven't taken screenshots of her words, and GMs won't dig into chat logs for cases like this. From what I see, chat log digging is usually reserved for more serious cases like RWT or account sharing that lead to perma bans. Next time when something like this happens, you would know to take screenshots as evidence.

Also, if someone says mean words to me, instead of returning mean words, I will just screenshot and try to get him / her banned. Because that is a much more satisfying revenge

 

i am not asking him to digg into the chat log. the accuser has a screenshot of our conversation. i asked the gm the take a look at that but he said he doesn't ant to. that's why i said kaii is so biased.

Also, GM Kai seems to be rude towards you which isn't very professional. Why does he keep mentioning he doesn't care about your opinion? Who is he trying to impress? lmao

In a harassment case like this, it's bullshit that they can't even show the screenshots and chatlog to show how you were "provoked". Also, "bitch go make me a sandwich" is pretty rude but it shouldn't be an auto ban without considering context... People on this server need to grow up lol

 

I think GM Kai is just a hardliner who follows rules strictly and doesn't appreciate anyone breaking them. Therefore, his attitude towards rule-breakers can seem harsh from time to time.

I can definitely understand why he has that attitude, since he had to deal with many vote-abusers, account sharers, and RWTers who try their best to lie and waste staff's time.

But I also agree that some of Kai's words are too blunt, and it would be better to soften them a bit:

• For example, instead of saying "I don't think you're in any position to demand for anything", which is indeed a bit cocky, he could have just said "I cannot do that since the report is anonymous".
• For another example, "I am not obligated to show you the evidence whatsoever.", the "whatsoever" at the end makes the tone of that sentence a lot worse.

Those words are not wrong, but they are very triggering. After those two replies, it is understandable OP got angry and said GM Kai is not qualified. The situation then quickly deteriorated with more accusations. If Kai said those things in a more respectful manner, then OP may have kept his calm, and the problem would be resolved more quickly.

 

Probably because they don't need to care about your opinion. You were banned for breaking a rule you agreed to by downloading, making an account and playing the game. gg

 

As for defending ourselves without evidence, it is a necessity to keep the reports anonymous. Also, majority of the community trust the GMs to not make things up, and only take actions upon concrete evidence. For example, when Kai says that OP said those words, he doesn't need to provide the actual screenshot to prove it, since what benefit would he get if he makes up stuff against OP?

Here is another case that seemed unfair in the beginning because GMs wouldn't provide evidence, but in the end demonstrates that GMs only act with concrete evidence on hand:

Personally, it's about how can I get banned for saying " bitch go make me a sandwich" . for someone to report harassment. as far as i understand it has to have this criteria,

Constantly speaking to u at that manner. even though the victim warns the accuser not to.

I never bothered her after i said those three lines. which are about 10 seconds apart. and I just left and never talked to her again. and key: she never express her discomfort or satisfaction to me.

I did a harassment report a long time ago, but because the gm said you never warned them to stop talking to you in that manner. that is not bannable. so when did this become bannable?

for a player who's been on this server for 2 years. I am pretty sure most of u don't check the rules constantly, i mean seriously, (of course we know certain rules, before i was banned, it was my logic that for the report to be bannable. U have to tell the accuser to stop. or he/she will not get banned.)

It's always the same old song and dance on royals a new GM is hired & has to show how big and bad his new powers on a private server,People get banned for minor petty problems or more serious ones that everyone should be well aware of after reading the ToS & avoid. In your case it does look that Kaii was being a bit over the top & should have been able to come to express himself in a less hostile way. '' Kaii Again, your opinion means very little to me'' Well guess what bud?,Your opinion means F%$^ all to the topic of him asking for evidence for actions you deem wrong. I just wanted to be treat fairly and on why I was banned .

 

I did let it go. I deleted Mapleroyal. the entire system is crocked.
