Had an incident where the guy wont stop ksing me despite repeated warnings and unfortunately, my internet was bad (not everyone is blessed with good connection, my country has the worst internet speed) and I disconnected when he was still ksing me. So obviously, I could not get many screenshots or video it because he was jumping around and my character at that point of time does not have any mobile skills. So the guy was let off after ksing me due to lack of evidence because there was just no means for me to take it because of the internet. TLDR I would like to make a suggestion for GMs and admins to check backdated logs for ksing and go lenient on ksing format for special circumstances like mine to ensure that players get treated fairly. thanks
Hey there, thanks for the suggestion! Firstly, I'd like to remind you that screenshots can be taken without having an internet connection. Just save those into a folder and post it in a report when your connection comes back. Secondly, accepting evidence based on personal stories and chatlogs simply isn't sufficient for these cases because that still doesn't prove the player was actively KSing. It pretty much opens the door for false reports, whereas with the current format people are rightfully banned for wronging someone who has asked them to stop while showing timestamps throughout the persistent harassment.

How do lower leveled people eg. A warrior, walks as fast to the other corner of the map with lags just to take a screenshot of him ksing, when the guy can use flashjump? To my knowledge, timestamp alone cant show who is the one actively ksing u because it just says ure the mapowner. Once i disconnected and if he continues hitting, map owner belongs to him no? Then itll be impossible unless u log back straight if ur connection permits. I am very much capable to use my high level characters to ks him. But i figured i wont stoop to his level and get myself banned next. So hence im typing this suggestion. xD
If you attack a monster and disconnect, you'll still have a full 3 minutes of mapownership until someone else can claim a map. If your internet connection goes away for longer... that's pretty much on you man. Well now you know that once you're back online, simply type ~mapowner & screenshot that with them still attacking your mobs so they don't get away with it!
