I was grinding at the himes when I noticed every other kill or so the mobs would not give exp for the kill they'd die and still drop items but no exp rewarded...himes seems to be the only place where this happens
No and now I can confirm that its also happening with other mobs as I went to Ulu2 and having the same problem
What an odd glitch. You have marked this as "Moderate" but I feel it's almost "Critical". I have never heard of this glitch before. What have you tried to do in order to fix it so far? What is your job? When did you first notice it happening? Are you being in a party or alone? Just throwing stuff out of my head...
I know right when I noticed it a couple of days ago I was solo training at himes on my Lv102 Outlaw I only tried logging off and back on then closing and starting the client over again, Im logging on now to see if its still a problem
This is still an issue im not sure what to do.. its weird while leeching its fine, bosses are fine but certain mobs just aren't giving exp for a reason
To me it sounds like a certain skill is causing this. At himes & ulu you probably are mobbing, while bossing you're not. Does this only happen when using a mobbing skill?
I find it a bit sad that a week-old thread of a critical glitch is not even responded to by staff. I've never heard of this glitch and it seems few players have any advice to give too. Right now I got the idea to help bump this thread into it receives appropriate attention. A simple "We will look into it as soon as we have time" would do
This was reported already back in December but no gm reply then either. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/out...uses-monsters-to-give-0-exp-and-drops.110951/ It's caused by flamethrower. I just gave up grinding there and sniped newties until LVL110, then I farmed Headless Horseman till LVL120.
Hmm, that's interesting. But OP said But I guess they maybe died from Flamethrower's invisible damage after all? At least that's what I assume after reading the thread above, if I understood it correctly
Kill anything by spamming ice+fire macro and if it has high hp and takes a lot of hits it'll give nothing most of the time. The DoT from flamethrower does work but there's no visible damage for it. You can see the hp bar trickle down after firing on mobs.
