I was wondering if sound.wz editing was allowed on this server. I wanna be able to remove/change the music for the FM and potentially add a sound for when I get a trade.
Improper Files - The act of operating MapleRoyals using altered, damaged, outdated, edited file or otherwise any game files that were not provided by MapleRoyals Staff, including but not limited to any changes to the User Interface or language of the game text, and use of outdated MapleRoyals files more than 14 days separated from the time of the files becoming outdated. Punishment: Permanent ban. ^ I dont think its allowed
Any idea why that's the case though? If it's just small changes that have literally no effect on gameplay, what is the harm?
^ this is a subjective statement if editing files were allowed, then unfortunately it's inevitable that people will try to skirt the rules to their advantage; hence our zero-tolerance policy to avoid this grey area in the first place.
I'm genuinely curious, if OP was to carry this out, would he get caught if Noone was to call him out? Is there any trigger for such an edit?
